Dear Frikey,

Ariagto. I looked for but was unable to find any vdieos from his appearances at Anime Expo in 2005 or his previous one at AX, no da.

Chichiri

Dear Chichiri,

Greetings Wandering Mage Chichiri!

Thanks for the note.

Yes, we are familiar with orthodox Theodish practice. We have Theodish founding members, among others, in the Heathen Freehold Society. We have two different Kynnes. Although I would not call Theodish a "denominational type" by any stretch of the imagination. The allegory does not really apply.

I would add that most Theodish groups also pick a particular time, as well as particular tribe to recreate. And generally, therefore, use a language appropriate to that tribe at that time.

Myself, I would be proto-theodish, I suppose, in that my chosen time frame took place long before the Medieval feudal period, back when the Germanic tribes were relatively small, kin-centred, age-ranked big-man polities. In my tribe, for example, relation is by blood (by way of a literal, genetic kin-bond) or by oath (as in the case of marriage or adoption). We are led symbollically by my 95 year old grandmother, but effectively by my 69 year old father, Ralph Miller Loafman. But we use re-Germanicized Modern English in our rites.

I frequently tease my Theodish friends because is it not something fantastical to pick one time and one tribe out of a hat and say, okay, now we are going to re-create that and then! But I have chosen my time and polity: the age-rank familial group with a shared genetic lineage (in theory out to about the second cousin [out to my first cousins have joined me at the holy rites).

At any rate, I have the greatest respect for my Theodish friends who focus on the Medieval period. Their devotion is praiseworthy, and they generally do some of the finest research around.

I have sat myself at a Theodish House of Lords -that enjoyed a frith-bond for a short time- as a lord represnting my own comitatus, with numerous lords of the various US groups claiming (at that time) some Theodish descent of one sort of another. I've also had the honour of meeting Garman at his home in NY, which is not to far from where my brother was living in Montreal.

Are you referring to something you've seen on YouTube? Or...?

Wandering Mage Chichiri wrote:

The way that the word Theodish is used within the modern religious community is to refer to a denominational type of practice within Asatru, 'fathered' by Garman Lord in the U.S.

Specifically one that is based on reconstructing the types of belief and practice of a SPECIFIC ancient pre-Christian Northern-European culture (which honored the Gods of the Aesir), and refers to indeed a 'tribe' of people who are connected through tribal oaths via a hierarchical structure to the group (Lord, lesser lords, the folk, and those in-thralldom as they learn). Of the Theodish groups I'm aware of in the U.S. there have been groups modeled off the ancient Frisians, Anglo-Saxons, Normans, Danes, etc.

The web of oaths is really the distinctive trait here (followed by the emphasis on reconstructing a specific culture), and these groups try to recreate things like the comitatis (warband). If you're not familiar with that concept, this web of oaths is the origins of what became the medieval "feudal" system.

Theodish groups also tend to be more formal in their decorum in rite (wearing period ritual clothes) and running a "high" sumble, where the lords of the Theodish tribe do certain things a normal member of the tribe wouldn't. While I don't know if this next bit is true of all Theodish groups, I do know that several have made it a requirement for anyone to be a "lord" of the tribe (closest thing to king they have) that they must prove a genealogical ancestral lineage back to one of the kings of that particular culture.

So someone who is non-Theodish, simply means that they are not part of this really specific type of Asatru denomination. You can still be tribalist, without being Theodish.

Be whole!

Dan Ralph Miller

Dear Miller-san,

I think you have been wandering in our archives and came across an old letter from Wandering Mage Chichiri as she has not been on this site in years, no da. But ariagto for your letter nonetheless.

Chichiri

Dear Hotohori,

Can I join your son's harem? and please tell your wife that she's my fashion icon. :)

Chinai

Dear Chinai,

I shall inform her. However, my son has no harem as he is too young.

Hotohori

Dear Chichiri,

Chichiri! lookie what I've found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RTOmQtscK0 It says that yours and Hotohori-sama's seiyuu are one of those guys but which is which?

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

At the very beginning (42 seconds in) from left to right are: my seiyuu Tomokazu Seki, Shiichiro Miki, Hotohori-sama's seiyuu Takehito Koyasu, and Hiro Yuuki. By the way, Chichiri no Aijin has been lucky enough to meet both my seiyuu and Omi's seiyuu (Hiro Yuuki), no da.

Chichiri

Dear Chichiri,

I keep on wondering how Seki Tomokazu manages to have his voice high pitched when he's voicing you? I mean it's too small for a guy's voice. I have nothing against your voice in fact it's cute just like you but does he ever get strained at all? Especially when singing?

I'm truly amazed by this guys voice no wonder he's one of the best seiyuus out there, you should be lucky to have him as your seiyuu and vice versa. Did I ever mention that he has great singing voice (Koyasu Takehito as well) wheather his natural one or portraying you cause I listened to Mizu Kagami and Velvet Underground a while ago and they were both really awesome! *huggles you*

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

I'm sure it does get strained from time to time, no da. Arigato for your kind comments!

Chichiri

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

I wish I had a husband like Tamahome or Hotohori. Tasuki, care to be my hubby?

random girl who just dropped by

Dear random girl,

Gomen, nope.

Tasuki

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Ken: Hey guys, we're having a party and would like go? There's lots of food, and music.

Omi: I'd like to invite Chiriko to see my new gadget and maybe play some video games!

Ken: yes Omi, that sounds like a great idea maybe I'd teach the others especially Tamahome-kun to play Soccer. Aya could perhaps have a chat with Hotohori-sama about kendo or anything that has to do with sword fighting. aint that right Aya?

Aya: ...Sure. Besides, only Hotohori-sama can relate to me. I think.

Yoji: Whatever guys, your trying to do some lame stuffs to the seishis? come on! the life of the party is ME, of course the girls.. oh! OoH! and LOTS of BOOZE for me and my future drinking buddy Tasuki-kun! *grins*

Ken and Omi: *sweatdrops* You've invited girls?!

Aya: hmp. I wouldn't be surprised. *shakes his head at Yoji*

Omi: I don't think the other Seishis will approve of that...

Yoji: Oh come on, don't be such a party pooper! I'm sure some of them would love it! ...i hope.

all: *sweatdrops*

Ken: Aaaanyway *tries to ignore Yoji* I hope you guys would be there!

Yoji: hey don't forget BRB!!! thats Bring your own beer incase you guys didnt know. hehe

Omi: *sighs* I deeply apologize for his behaviour, i swear sometimes we are embarrassed of him. As Ken-kun said, we'll see you and hopefully Aya-kun will be able to utter a word or two and not by merely being so 'myterious' all the time.

Aya: *rolls his eyes at Omi*

*weiss guys continue to bicker while Aya left and be 'mysterious' again*

Ken, Omi, Aya and Yoji

Dear Ken, Omi, Aya and Yoji,

We'd be honored to join you. Chichiri would also like to learn this soccer ou speak of. And Tasuki said that he wants the beer and Yoji can deal with the fangirls. I am looking forward to sparring woith Aya-san.

Hotohori

Dear Chichiri,

It seems so forward of me to write this letter. Yet I feel I must do this, as this is the only time I may. I have long admired you, perhaps you have felt my eyes upon you? You do not seem to know my feelings, and I cannot say them aloud. I will not, for I know you do not share them. They remain in my heart, and in my silence you do not have to turn away from my gaze.

I am committed, as are you. Neither of us is free to court the other, even if we wanted to. I know that what I have is far too valuable to throw away. Yet I must write this letter, though I will never act upon it. I need to say what lies in my heart. I love you.

Chichiri's secret admirer

Dear secret admirer,

*Smiles* Arigato for your kind words, no da.

Chichiri

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Can I be someone's PA(Personal Asisstant)here? If any you guys need one, just tell me. I need a job.

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

We don't need any PA's but if we ever do, we'll let you know.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Tamahome,

Gwaah... I was doing the Wizard Challenge Trivia for Harry Potter in the Scholastic website, hoping to be able to beat the highest score (516). Of course, I've got a long way to go, so after getting close twice and then failing, I decided to continue next time. Anyway, here's the link if you feel like trying it: http://www.scholastic.com/harrypotter/challenge/index.htm Good luck! ^_^

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

It was interesting arigato!

Tamahome

Dear Tamahome,

For some strange resons, would you like to sing a lullaby for Tasuki?

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

No, not for any reason!

Tamahome

Dear Tasuki,

Do you agree that Chichiri has the cutest singing voice ever? (your voice is also good though)

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

Cute, no. Good, yes.

Tasuki

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hey guys, do you have any idea what happened to the peeji of my Seishis? It seems that it had been disappeared. Why so? I can't contact any of them now.

Yui

Dear Yui,

As we've said before, due to being very busy in real life the webmistresses could no longer keep the peeji up.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

.. I'm sorry Hori.. v.v.. Am I creeping you out..? Each letter you sent.. it said "Ano..." in the begining.. T^T.. I'm too much of a fangirl.. Ima stop.. and act normal around you now.. v.v.. And really..? I'm the only one.. who's called you Hori..? .. I'm glad.. -She'd look down at the ground, her hair slightly shadowing her eyes.- ...

~OmgItsTsukiChan!~

Dear TsukiChan,

You're not creeping me out. But you are the only person that calls me Hori-chan.

Hotohori

Dear Nuriko,

why do you wear girl's outfit rather than boy's?

Yvonne

Dear Yvonne,

It's a long story. You ned to watch the anime or read the manga.

Nuriko

Dear Hotohori,

hello there! I have the second FY OVA on DVD, and well, the story involving you, Houki and Boushin is one that moved me.

I am glad Taka allowed you to possess his body so you could hold Boushin for the first time. That scene really had me very moved, the tears were forming in my eyes as I watched it. (Of course, the Akugi had to ruin the moment, but it was amusing nonetheless.) When Boushin said 'father' as his first word, that was it, the tears were falling. It was just such a wonderful, heartwarming ending to your story.

That's all for now. See ya! Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Thank you for your kind words and Happy New Year.

Hotohori

Dear Chichiri,

hello there! Thank you for your response to my last letter. Sorry about being such an angst-bucket during that time.

One morning, I couldn't sleep because I was feeling a bit sick. I decided to watch some FY OVA 2 and clicked on the story focusing on your past. As you said those parting words to Hikou, I sat there just crying and crying. My heart really went out to both of you as I watched that scene.

I am hoping that in your next life, both of you will meet up again and have a strong friendship.

That's all for now. Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

You're very welcome, no da. Arigato for your kind words and Happy New Year, no da!

Chichiri

Dear Tamahome,

hey there! I feel a little rude saying this, but I laughed when I read that you chose Tomomasa as your compared Hachiyo because he was still remaining. I should've given you guys more options, ne?

If I were to compare you to a Haruka character, I think you'd be... Ikutidaru. Reason why is because of his love for Inori's sister Seri, and your love for Miaka. Hmm, the best way to explain would be... um.., pardon me a second. *thinks* Okay, got it. Because Ikutidaru is a member of the Oni clan, it's hard for him and Seri to be together, not to mention Inori not being fond of the idea. Then there was how you and Miaka almost couldn't be together because you're both from different worlds (that scene at the end of OVA 1 nearly had me crying mind you). However, in the end, you had a happily ever after with her and are now a father. Anime wise, the same happened with Ikutidaru, he was accepted by Inori and became a father.

Well, that's my opinion at least. What do you reckon?

Oh! Wanted to share this... one of my friends on livejournal has started to call me Tama-chan!! X3 Isn't that Nuriko's nickname for you? Well, see ya! Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

OK, I like that better. It is hs nickname for me. Happy New Year!

Tamahome

Dear Tasuki,

hey there, how are you? I'd like to ask you something... what is your relationship with Kouji? Before you take your tessen and Rekka Shinen this letter, please allow me to explain my question. I'm not asking in the hentai way that you prefer not to be asked. See, I'm actually sort of a newbie to FY, but I have seen a couple of clips, the first two OVAs and have been collecting the manga.

I've seen that you two are as close as brothers can be (and by the way, I love the dance both of you do!), but I'd read somewhere that at first you guys didn't exactly get along. Something about Kouji giving you a rough time because you were new and younger... I think...

I have read some great friendship fics between you and Kouji, and so I'd like to hear from you personally... what is your relationship with Kouji? Best friends? Brothers? Soul-mates? (Not THAT kind, I mean destined to meet and become friends, a bond that will always be eternal and you'll be friends no matter which life, you'll always be reunited... something like what you share with your fellow seishi and Miaka).

Okay, please don't use your tessen on me for phrasing my question the way I did. I hope you continued to read it before taking out your trusty tessen...

See ya! Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

I'd say we're best friends an' bros.

Tasuki

Dear Mitsukake,

hello, how are you and Tama-neko? The weather patterns are finally becoming normal now, I'm only feeling a little sick from the heat, but I'm coping with it. I've been keeping my fluids up, and if I find I'm overheating, I've sat in a shallow, cool bath, occasionally splashing the water on myself until I felt a little cooler (I use that instead of the swimming pool as I hate swimming in public pools).

Last night, I was recalling my Human Biology class back when I was still in school. Sometimes the lessons were fine, but when things became too graphic (like disection or something on a video) I'd feel very woozy. My teacher excused me from anything too graphic, just as long as I made sure to take notes of the project when everything graphic was put away.

I hate hospitals, they sometimes make me feel sick in the stomach, or may bring up unpleasant memories. Do you know how I can try to get around the feeling sick problem? I find it even stops me from visiting someone who'd had a baby.

See ya! Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Have you talked to your doctor about this? It can be a real disorder that I believe has to do with low blood pressure. There may be a medical solution to it. Otherwise, I'd say try to think of other more pleasant things so you don't get as upset by the hospital or the gore.

Mitsukake

Dear Chiriko,

hello there! I realised I haven't written a letter to you yet, not counting the group letters. I apologise for the lack of letters sent to you personally... Okay, I found that you and I are the same height as each other! XD (Just had to say that)

Next, I'd like to say I absolutely adore Akai Iitsutae! When I first found it, I continued to play it over and over again. You have such a cute singing voice!! :3 I was wondering... is it alright if I call you Chiri-chan? Till next time! Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Arigato for your kind words. You can call me that if you want.

Chiriko

Dear Nuriko,

hello there, how are you?

Thank you very much for the advice you have given me, especially during my angst-fest (I blame a certain visitor for that).

You know the nursery rhyme 5 Little Ducks? The kittens here decided to act it out. The other day, there were six kittens outside. 5 came to me. Then four. Three. Two. One. Zero. They came back to me the next day! Cheeky kitts! XD

I think Sukekiyo and Darla are on heat... again... they're very loud, but at least they aren't crawling around with their rears in the air like my friend's cat did a few years back. I'm getting Sukekiyo spayed but Darla will have to go to the animal shelter...same with their brother Ichigo... My grandfather keeps telling me to get them "spaded", but when I finally realised what he was saying I told him not to call it that, it made it sound like they'd be getting hit with a shovel.

I am a fan of crossovers, and lately started to write one in which you, Shun (from Greenwood) and Kyousuke (from Crush Gear Turbo)--both of them share your seiyuu ^_^--go to a new shopping complex. Kyousuke is the only one not pleased about it since unlike you and Shun, he's not fond of crowded places, loud noises or even sunlight. When I'm done, would you like to read it? I can give you a link to it if you'd like.

Also, this has been bothering me for a while, so I'd like to ask you this... is it alright if I call you Nuri-chan? It just seems cute! Well, that's all for now. See ya! I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Happy New Year! It's a shame that some of the kittens have to go to the pound. Can't any homes be found for them? It sounds like an interesting story. I'd love to read it! Yes, you may call me Nuri-chan if you wish.

Nuriko

Dear Hotohori,

Are you a jealous type of guy? Because I really really like her *points to Houki* I thinks she's VERY beautiful, sophisticated, and sexy. There I said it before you might throw me in the dungeon and have my head.

Houki's lover

Dear Houki's lover,

You are correct that my wife is all those things. I am not jealous as I am secure in my relationship with her.

Hotohori

Dear Chichiri,

It's random questions for Chichiri time! yay, no da! (sorry i just had to say that)

1. I just found out that Seki Tomokazu is also Ken's (Weiss Kreus) seiyuu. cool huh? same as Hotohori and Aya by Takehito Koyasu and Youji and Keisuke by.. I forgot his name.. what's his name again?

2. What kind of books do you read?

3. Do you think Tasuki will ever learn how to swim?

9. Why don't you have a girlfriend? You are very attractive you know, you just don't realize it because fan girls are too blinded by Tasuki, Tamahome, Hotohori and Nuriko. You should try and look for one.

10. Can you catch me some fish and cook it for me at the same time please?

lastly,

11. Do you know that you have a wonderful singing voice?

I do have a request though.. can have a hug?

lastly,

11. *Smiles* Arigato, no da.

Chichiri

Dear Chichiri,

A very kind soul on deviantart who has decided that I have power with my pen-Er, rather, keyboard. It's highly flattering to receive such a comment, really.

In other news, very soon I will be resubmitting Farewell Chopin to Glimmer Train with it's adjustments and time ratio and whatever else they'd hate me for. And, while I wait, I write more on Awakening. I'm so happy with how it's going, I could sing! However, the holidays have a slightly reversed effect on my girlfriend. Not only that, her ailments have been increasingly worse... I'm very worried I'll lose her.

Kaguya-Hime

Dear Kaguya-Hime,

I hope that doesn't happen, no da! Good luck with your submissions.

Chichiri

Dear Tamahome,

Wow. Another random spin of mine in one of my fics--I made you give Miaka a piggyback ride. ^_^

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

That's not so out of character for me.

Tamahome

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Trivia time! It's about who dubs your voice in the Filipino language. For those who do not know, Filipino or Tagalog is the official language of the Philippines. The Philippines is a country in Southeast asia near Indonesia and Malaysia. Manila is the capital city.

Thought you guys might want to know this... cause i find this information very amusing.

Tamahome and Tasuki shares the same Filipino seiyuu. As with Recca Hanabishi from Flame of Recca

hey Tamahome and Tasuki, did you know that your Filipino seiyu/the one who dubs your voice in Filipino or Tagalog is gay? that is a fact. He is also one of the executive producers of Survivor Philippines. I'm not being homophobic here all i'm sayin is that you guys have a talented and not to mention very rich and powerful seiyuu but i'm sure you're originals (Midorikawa and Canna) are also talented too.

Chichiri, Mitsukake, Ashitare, and Tetsuya have the same seiyuu.

Chiriko, Yui, and Taiitsukun has also the same.

Hotohori, Kouji and *gasp* Tomo shares the same seiyu! LOL (i told you this is very amusing)

Nuriko and Soi also shares the same seiyuu.

Keisuke, Nakago, Amiboshi and Suboshi have the same seiyuu.

Miaka and Nyan-nyan have the same seiyuu.

source: anime news network

shocking? amusing? disappointing? watcha think?

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

It was very interesting. Arigato!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

I was browsing on some fy fanfics and i saw a story with a messed up pairings like you and Soi, Nakago and Houki, Miaka and Kouji and worse... Tamahome and and Tasuki! I was like, what the *bleep*?!?! anyway, i just thought it was funny yet VERY wrong.

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

Ah yes, fanfics. Interesting aren't they?

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Holy cr*p! Tasuki looks like David Bowie from when he was in the movie the "Man Who Fell To Earth"! don't know it? google it!

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

I look like what?? I did! I don't look like that

Tasuki

Dear Hotohori,

Will I ever find true love? How about you, how did you find yours? Is it true that you can never really find 'the one'?

No Boyfriend Since Birth

Dear No Boyfriend,

I'm sure you will. When I found Houki I found my true love. I do believe that you can find "the one".

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Minna, these thoughts have been buggin' my mind so if you would be kind to answer my queries please? *smiles* I'd be forever greatful. -bows-

Tamahome: Have you ever consider being an accountant in Miaka's world instead of coaching an all girl's basketball team? I think you'd be fit as an accountant because you are good in handling money..

Hotohori: Have you ever thought of living a simple but not lonely life with your wife and kid as a poor man maybe a farmer instead of being a royalty but being very lonely. Do you still feel lonely right now?

a joint question for Tamahome and Hotohori: What is the best thing about being married? you know, have a wife and eventually having kid/s? Is it difficult to adjust to that kind of lifestyle? I'm asking this cause i'm still single and maybe have a family of my own. hopefully.

Nuriko: I feel bad cause all of my friends already have boyfriends and I still don't. why is that? If you think that maybe i am ugly, i' not. is there something wrong with not having a boyfriend?

Chichiri: what kind of monk is miboshi? i don't like him. he's very creepy. do you know how to cook? if so, what kind of dishes do you cook?

Tasuki: among your five sisters, who's your favorite or who are you closest to? and why?

Mitsukake: How do you train a cat to use a kitty litter?

Chiriko: what does it mean if you're a 'cat person' or a 'dog person'? if you have a pet bird or a fish does that make one a 'bird person or a 'fish person'?

to all: do you believe in 'soulmates'? do you have soulmates? if yes then who is it?

domo arigato gozaimasu minna!

Inaho

Dear Inaho,

Tamahome: Not until you mentioned it...

Hotohori: I'm no longer lone;y. I have not as I would not want to subject them to a way of life that might be too harsh for them.

a joint question for Tamahome and Hotohori: The best thing about being mrried is spending your life with the person you love who is also your best friend! As for having children, that IS a HUGE change in one's lifestyle!

Nuriko: I don't know your feelings so I can't tell you. Perhaps you're jealous or maybe you just feel left out. Either way, it is not a bad thing to not have a boyfriend. I'm sure you will have one when the time is right.

Chichiri: I can cook simple dishes, mostly fish as that is what I tend to catch, no da.. Miboshi? Hmmm... I don't know what he was like before he was possessed by the evil spirit, no da.

Tasuki: Don't tell 'er but Aidou ismy favorite.

Mitsukake: When the cat has to go put them in the box they generally catch on rather quickly.

Chiriko: It just means that you prefer cats over dogs or dogs over cats. I suppose there are fish and bird people.

to all: We do. Houki would be Hotohori's, Mitsukake's would be Shouka, Chichiri's would be Kouran, and Miaka would be Tamahome's. As for the rest of us, we haven't met them yet.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

There just something I need to clarify here. In the Eikoden, the four of you returned to your new self correct? If you are reborn as Shu Eian, then you forgot about Houki and Boushin and you now care about Nuriko's reincarnation Reishun? perhaps when Shu Eian and Reishun are older you think they'd fall for each other? Becaue I really thought that when you and your family got reunited I thought you continued with your life but I realized that you continued with your new reincarnated self. As Shu Eian. I was hoping that you were with your son and wife again after that. I guess I am wrong.

confuzzled shiznit

Dear confuzzled shiznit,

As much as we love those left behind, we are no longer in their lives. Perhaps Shu Eian and Reishun do end up together, but that is another story.

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Have you guys watched the movie "Freaky Friday" starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis? It's about weird body switching between mother and daughter who are polar opposites. I wonder what mayhem would happen it Tasuki and Tamahome switched?

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

We ain't seen it but we know what it's about.

Tasuki: What would happen? Obake-chan would be a better fighter an' he could finally hold 'is booze! *Laughs*

Tamahome: I AM the better fighter of the two of us you idiot! Who d*mn near killed you at Nakago's? Remember that? ME! And what do you mean I can't hold my liquor? I can too! That does it! You're going in the nearest lake! *Runs after Tasuki...*

Tasuki and Tamahome

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

hey there, Minna-san! How are you all? How was Christmas?

I want to apologise for my angst-fest last week. I was having pretty bad mood swings, and so I was practically bipolar. Anything was able to set me off... anything, even the computer being slow and annoying.

Tamahome, Hotohori, please pass word onto Miaka and Houki that I hope they never experience the same mood swings I did.

By the way, question... please answer individually... have you ever seen a movie/TV show/anime that made you cry? If so, what was it and what scene?

My answers: many many anime... especially during death scenes. I cried hardest during episode 33, the final episode of Chrono Crusade and even when I saw the OVA of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki, I had to pause it because I was crying very hard when Ridvan was killed (I even hug my Ridvan plush every time I watch that now). Even Pokemon has made me cry a couple of times... particularly in the episode Tracey Gets Bugged when Tracey is sitting by Scyther's bedside and trying to apologise for unintentionally wounding Scyther's pride further...

Gotta go now!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Our Christmas was good. How was yours? We can't think of any scenes in any shows that have made us cry... we know we have cried at certain shows but none in particular come to mind. Gomen, if we come up with any, we'll let you know.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Chichiri,

Oh, to add on to my response to Tsukichan: I'm a girl. XD; I noticed you said "his name". Anyway, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Kaguya-Hime

Dear Kaguya-Hime,

We did, arigato! We hope you had a Merry Christmas as well, no da.

Chichiri

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Merry Christmas to my seishi friends!

Well, technically, it's Dec. 26 already, but it doesn't matter, because I can sleep in tomorrow. Anyway, I'm online tonight and watching TV at the same time, because I'm waiting for the GMA coverage of the Christmas Mass at Vatican City. And "Case Unclosed" is interesting! Tonight, they're featuring some past cases about Philippine History- take, for instance, the Yamashita's Treasure, and about the death of Andres Bonifacio, which I didn't quite understand.

Hm, I don't really feel like talking much today, so I'll ask you guys some questions instead. (This IS "Ask the Suzaku Seishi", after all! *V-sign*)

1. What holidays do you celebrate over there in Konan?

2. Do you also celebrate real-world holidays? (I mean, with CnA-san. ^^)

3. What particular memorable holiday(s) have you celebrated with your loved ones? (It doesn't have to be Christmas- see #1.)

My goodness, all these Christmas stuff makes me feel a bit nostalgic for some weird reason! Well, I better go before I go into "crazy" mode! (But I am NOT, and will never become insane!) Bye bye!!

Sode no Shirayuki

Dear Sode no Shirayuki,

Merry Christmas to you, too! We celebrate different festivals for the harvest seasons. We celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving with CnA. All the festivals are fun and memorable.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

DO you believe in 'Love at first sight'?

Briar Rose

Dear Briar Rose,

I believe it can happen.

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hello everyone! Long time no talk! How've you all been? I've been pretty good :) I'm single again, but I'm a okay with it lol. Work has been going really good for the most part :) And I just finished my first semester of college! I have 4 As and a B, but I got an A in my hardest class so I was really happy about that! But now I'm sitting out my 3 week break trying to keep myself busy ^^ But i can not wait til see my grandparents tonight! I haven't seen them in a while :D And my lil cousins so I"m excited! I've met the most amazing people from over seas too! But yeah! I'm gonna go and get ready to see my relatives!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and new year :D Take care everyone!

Ila

Dear Ila,

Congratulations on your excellent grades! We're very proud of you! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and we hope you had a great time with your family!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Tasuki,

Hayashi Nobutoshi or Canna is your original Japanese seiyuu right? ok so i saw Dan Norris' profile on wikipedia and i found out that he also did your English voice and guess who... Cosmo of Fairly Odd Parents! hahaha! does it bother you that you share the same English voice with a fairy? btw, Fairly Odd Parents is a cartoon in Nickelodeon.

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

Not really. I like my Japanese seiyuu better anyway.

Tasuki

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

hello, minna-san! Merry Christmas to you all and to your families!

I think I may have worked out at least 6 of your comparisons to the Hachiyo you named. Here are my guesses... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

Hotohori: You compared yourself to Takamichi... I think it may be because of dedication to Miaka and to your country, like how Takamichi is dedicated to Akane and to helping the people of Kyou.

Nuriko: You compared yourself to Inori. I have a feeling it's because Inori wants to protect his sister, and now Akane as well. I'd heard that Inori at first thinks of Akane as an older sister. That's why I can understand that comparison: I will protect the miko... she's like a sister to me... I also think it could be "I have feelings for her, but I know you do, so I won't get in the way, I'll support you 100%"

Chichiri: You compared yourself to Yasuaki (my fave Hachiyo). I think it's because both of you are very adept at "spells" and incantations. (Plus, he says mondai nai about as much as you say no da ^_^)

Tasuki: You compared yourself to Tenma. Could it be concerning tempers?

Mitsukake: You compared yourself to Yorihisa. I pondered to myself and came up with this... is it because both of you are... men of little words to put it nicely?

Chiriko: You compared yourself to Shimon. Is it because both of you are youngest?

Tamahome: You compared yourself to Tomomasa... I thought and thought, but couldn't come up with an answer. Please explain why? *sweatdrop*

One more question concerning this (I'm trying to plot a cosplay fanart, so that's why I am asking such questions): Who would you say would be the Fuji-hime of the cast? And Kotengu? Oh, and Eisen, can't forget him! I'm planning on drawing Miaka as Akane.

Thanks, guys!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

*They all smile* You are very perceptive. Tamahome picked Tomomasa because he was the only one left. He really doesn't see himself as any of the Hachiyo. Maybe the Kotengu is like a Nyan-Nyan? As for the other two, we don't know.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

*gushes excitedly* I'm watching FY on Philippine television right now, and I've just been fangirling to the max! ^_^ It's great that this episode happens to be one of those that don't work well in my DVD. I mean, I was thrashing around my room in excitement, as silently as I could, because Mom's in the kitchen, which is near my room.

It's great that it finally returned to the TV screen I have long known, and here are my musings:

1) First off, the voices. These have always been my main concern. Taiitsukun's voice was okay, as were Nuriko's and Miaka's. The Nyan-Nyans still sounded cute. However, our two leading men's voices were messed up. Tamahome's voice sounded too deep, and Hotohori's voice was okay, only it would have sounded better through Tamahome's lips. Basically, they were mixed up. Miaka's voice sometimes sounded too mature for her. Yui's was too tough-sounding. Nuriko's voice sometimes sounded a bit annoying. Nevertheless, I still got the butterflies hearing you guys speak.

2) The pronunciation. For the first time in a long time, I watched FY on TV without hearing anyone say "Suzku" or "Mia-ka". However, I was a bit appalled when I heard "Tai-kun". But, hey, at least they got the names right!

3) Finally, we trail over to the translation. I don't care about it as much as the other two aspects, but it was still a big matter in this case. I was okay with the poetic dialogue in English, but in Filipino! As if I hadn't had enough of it in "Ibong Adarna"! It was really weird, lemme tell you that. And Miaka was deemed... what was it? Oh, yeah--"Kinatawan ni Suzaku". Which translates into "Representative of Suzaku" in English. I was concerned about it, as it was a little off. The episode I was watching was "Going Home", so there's Hotohori's little joke about Taiitsukun's ugliness. It was off, too, what with Hotohori saying something that translates into "I don't want to hurt your feelings". So, basically, the joke was lost.

Ah, well... I'm being a bit ungrateful here, I should be at least happy that FY is gracing the airwaves again. Toodle-oo, and Merry Christmas!

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

We're glad you are enjoying our adventures even if they don't quite translate perfectly in your language. Merry Christmas!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

Ohayou, Hotohori-sama!

Hehehe, I just thought I'd call Your Highness something besides "onii-sama," for a change. The year's changing, after all. In a week, it's year 2009 A.D. here in the real world! *excited* ^^... But then again... *imagines annoying fireworks* Oh no...

Something I didn't realize last August- my first anniversary of writing in at this site! As in, how could I have forgotten? And next week, December 31, 2008 is the first anniversary of the time I asked about New Year in Konan, et al... Silly me! =P

"The Priestess of Suzaku... a girl who will appear from another world. Maybe she'll be able to save me from the loneliness I feel. Maybe she'll be able to love me as a person and not simply as the next emperor. Surely.."

You DO know this line, don't you? I know you do. Oh, and please tell Chichiri No Aijin-san to italicize the above statement, please? *shows puppy-dog eyes which are ineffective even against the smallest particle in the entire universe*

You know what? I just got addicted to this line recently! I bet this is one of your favorite lines, right? (Tell me if there are others, but I think this one is the best! Yay!!) Your sincere desire for the Priestess never wavered, even after years of waiting. I'm SO impressed! Of course you will be loved as a person- we all do. (Well, maybe, except Nakago- but forget him! He's not really THAT worth mentioning. But it's not like I hate him or anything, really!) I really wish we had DSL internet so I can look for Episode 23 and watch it in Japanese. And now I'm looking forward to how that line will be delivered in Filipino! *not really expecting perfect translation, though*

*returns to formal speech* -ahem..- And so, I shall stop the ranting here, before it becomes like a cheesy online journal entry. Now before I forget, allow me to present you with a Christmas gift. *places a wrapped gift before the throne* Just some modern clothing I thought you might want to add to your ever-growing wardrobe collection. And I think I'll bring over some cosmetics next year... *reconsiders* Maybe not..

With that, I'll be taking my leave, Your Highness. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Sode no Shirayuki

P.S. Did you find my "formal speech" okay? Annoying? Too formal? Well, don't despair; I'll be returning to my "normal (and a bit disrespecful to the Emperor, though) speech" in my next letter! Adieu! ^^

Dear Sode no Shirayuki,

Arigato for the wonderful gift. *Smiles and sparkles* I do remember saying that. Your formal speech is fne.

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

*points* Marvin told me TV5 is on cable! >_< Ah well... sorry about that, anyway. *sweatdrops*

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

That's ok. Don't worry about it.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Chichiri,

Ah, it's rumoured there is already one in production. My girlfriend said her teacher got to go to E3 (I think) and saw sketches for it. If what he said is true, look forward to Amaterasu and her brothers possibly fighting side by side. (And Amaterasu in a human form. <3) That is, of course, permitting what he said is true. But as far as if I was excited about hearing this, yes, I was. Immensely so. I've been dying for a Second Okami. And, with the information provided, I think they're doing this one before the events of the first. Which will be very exciting to see the legend come alive again. And yes, Tsuki, I remember you. ^^

And thank you, Chichiri. I know I should be getting more sleep, but it seems dreadfully impossible. And on another note, I think someone's trying to give me an ego. Going so far as to seeing me as someone assisting greatly with change. A beautiful comment if I'd ever seen one, but also frightening in all it's possibilities.

Kaguya-Hime

Dear Kaguya-Hime,

You're welcome, no da. And who would that be?

Chichiri

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Why'd Seriyuu stop there page for? I wanted to talk with Nakago with a few things... He's my favorite from Seriyuu. Lol.

Dear Frikey,

Me-ri kurisumasu to akemashiteomedetougozaimasu.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Merry Christmas minna! by the way, do you guys actually celebrate Christmas in Konan? if not what holidays do you have over there? or maybe you guys have Taiitsukun day? lol kidding! Anyway, last question, if there are also mistles toes in Konan, who would you kiss underneath it? Chihiri! can i kiss you instead??? *puckers up for Chichiri*

curious neko

ps. Wo Ai Ni Chichiri-sama *blushes*

Dear curious neko,

We don't celebrate Christmas in Konan. But we do have festivals, no da. There is no mistletoe in Konan, but... *Kisses her on the forehead.* Arigato, but you don't need to call me sama, no da.

Chichiri

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Can somebody translate the conversations in between the verses in THTC's metcha hajikete, pretty please? Christmas minna!

Scrappy Coco

Dear Scrappy Coco,

There used to be a website that had those translations, but we no longer have that URL. Gomen! Minna, can any of you find such a website?

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Tasuki,

What do you look for in girls?

Ncole Moon

Dear Ncole Moon,

I don't. But I do like women that are smart an' independent.

Tasuki

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

I read the responses page earlier (plus all the front page stuff), and I'd like to congratulate CnA-san for her good grades, and extend my condolences to Doc-sama and SuzakuAngel-san and their families. (You know what happened.)

And I was able to watch episode 5 of Fushigi Yuugi yesterday on TV 5!! Yay!!! But I guess I'm not the only one who knows about Filipino FY. Just... don't ask. I'm always late when it comes to news anyway.. *sweatdrop* So the new show is on TV 5 (Formerly ABC 5- it IS a local channel as far as I know because we do NOT have cable TV), it's 7:30 in the evening (Manila Time) every Monday to Friday.

Actually, I feel kinda dizzy right now. This *points at platter in front of her* fruitcake is too "wine-y" for my taste. You think I'm drunk or what? I DID just watch Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior last night, and I'm still a bit on high from that show. (My father downloaded it for us- we don't have cable TV, remember?)

So I'm gonna stop here- for now, anyway. I need to wrap gifts for my cousins (I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve!) Gotta go! ^^

Sode no Shirayuki

Dear Sode no Shirayuki,

Arigato or all your good wishes and condolences. We're sure that they all are appreciated. We hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Nuriko,

Did the people in Hotohori's court call you by your sister's name or did they call you by your real name or did they call you "Nuriko"?

Angela

Dear Angela,

Since no one knew my secret, I was called by my sister's name.

Nuriko

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

*metcha hajikete is playing in the background*

Just saw FY series a while ago. It's currently on episode 5 where Miaka, Tamahome, Hotohori-sama and Nuriko are on their way to see Taiitsukun. *sighs* It's like a time warp.. I feel like a kid again. I look forward to watch all of you again. lol just sayin' later guys, Happy Holidays! bye! :)

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

Happy Holidays to you, too! Glad you're still enjoying the show.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hi guys! ^_^ Advanced Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and an advanced Happy Birthday to CnA-san, too! (Hope I remembered it right...)

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

CnA says thank you for the birthday wishes! Arigato and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Chichiri,

^^ Chichiri, this question goes to Kaguya-Hime (or at least that's what I think his name is.. ._.) Anyways..

Kaguya. Do you think that there should be an Okami 2?

I do, I think that it should start off originaly on the Ark of Yamato and on the way to the Celestial Plains. When they arive, the Heavens are infested with Monsters that had originaly taken over before Yami was defeated. o.o; I think it would be fun, but other people I had asked said that Clover should keep the original.. because it may ruin the beauty and honor of the first. o.o..

I know you've played Okami because you've helped me a while back with trying to get past some gaurds gaurding Himiko's palace. o.o.. and desifering if Waka was evil or good. Remember me? :D

I just cant remember what name I was using before though.. T^T

btw.. HI CHICHIRIIII!!!! Lol. ^^ what's up? o.o;

~OmgItsTsukiChan!~

Dear TsukiChan,

Well Kaguya-hime what do you think?

Chichiri

Dear Chichiri,

hey there.

Have you ever made a wish that you lived to regret ever considering? One that was filled with good intentions and pure desires? I have.

My grandfather decided to start a new tradition between him and myself in which we write our wishes for the new year on New Year's Eve and sign the sealed envelopes. We open them the next New Year's Eve and make another wish. When we've opened them, we see if they'd come true, but this time, it's counting for this year as well because we never made another wish and we missed the first year.

My wish was for nothing bad to happen to any of my loved ones. But, one bad thing after another happened. One of my online friends cat's died, my grandfather had to have his dog put to sleep, my brother lost a good friend in a car crash, my father lost a good friend to cancer (her children, my friends, lost a mother), I even considered her to be a friend I could speak with concerning feminine issues, my friends lost loved ones as well. And now my uncle's heart is in horrible shape and he needs surgery otherwise he'll have a cardiac arrest. It was like my wish sparked all that... that's how I feel at least because nothing tragic happened the year after I made the wish, but hadn't opened the envelope.

And please do not get me started on the number of tragedies that took many lives throughout the whole world. I truly regret ever making that wish, no matter the good intentions behind it. I had read many people remarking that 2008 has been responsible for so many wonderful people that we admire as well as our loved ones being taken away... and now I feel I'm the cause because of my wish, not the year 2008.

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

*Gives her a hug.* I sincerely doubt that your good and unselfish wish caused all the bad things you wrote about. Things happen in this world that we have no control over, no da. It is just how the universe is.

Chichiri

Dear Tamahome,

Mayo: oh hey there Coach, me and Saori just wanted to tell you that we've been practicing our dunks and lays-up like what you wanted us to improve on. <3

Saori: *giggles and whispers to coach* actually, we came here cause she *points to Mayo* just wanted to see you. ^___^

Mayo: *blushes* Saori!!

*both girls are giggling while walking away*

Mayo and Saori: Well, see you on the next practice Coach Sukunami!

Mayo and Saori

Dear Mayo and Saori,

*Sweatdrops* Ano... see you both at practice.

Tamahome

Dear Hotohori,

Heika, I didn't mean to interrupt but Houki-sama is worried about you getting worked up on your daily court duties so she told me to bring you some refreshing drinks to keep you relaxed *brings in a pitcher filled with fruit juices and pours it in an elegant goblet*

Here you go, Heika. The Empress also assigned me for this as she is with Boushin-sama at the imperial library. She also asked me to tell you that she wants you to join her and the Prince at the gardens later after your work, that is all. *bows and walks away*

your loyal and humble servant, Mumin

Dear Mumin,

Arigato, I shall join them shortly.

Hotohori

Dear Nuriko,

hello there, how are you?

I'm not really all that great at the moment. Not so much sick as I am depressed. I received an invite to a masquerade ball that my friend is holding for her 21st birthday. I'm imagining right now you're thinking "that sounds like fun, why is she so worried about it?" and so I'll tell you why...

For one thing, I can't dance. I absolutely can't dance. I try to fake it when at home or with friends, but this time, we're talking about DANCING that I can't fake!

Another thing is the outfits we wear have to be black and/or white, which means it will be very formal. I can't afford that stuff, even hiring a dress for the evening would be too costly! I lucked out with my last formal event back in school, a friend of mine gave me one of her old dresses, but it's purple so I can't wear it to the ball.

The invitation said +1, so there's a problem there...I don't have anybody I could take with me! It's reminding me of the debutante ball back when I was in Year 10. Nobody even considered asking me to the ball, whereas most girls were asked by a few boys each. That was part of the reason I didn't go, the other was the dress would be too expensive, and the third is I can't dance.

So yeah, my concerns for the ball are the same as what I had back in school. She has a boyfriend she can take, our friends all have someone they can take... but me, I'm single.

There's one more reason I'm feeling reluctant about attending, I might wind up ruining it somehow, the party is three days before my mother's death anniversary (12 years) and I'm always such an emotional wreck leading to then, as well as a few days after.

I took one glance at the invitation the other night, and just burst into tears, so many concerns filled my mind. I don't want to attend, but I don't want to have to tell my friend that. I know I have to tell her though... I also know that as the date approaches I'll start getting sick from anxiety... Any advice?

Thanks, Nuriko. You're probably getting a little sick of me sending you letters about all of my problems, but...well, I feel a little better sharing it with someone. But, it's probably very annoying for you...

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

*Gives her a hug.* Have you discussed any of this with your counselor? They might be able to help you. If not, I wouldn't worry about the dancing or the date, I'd just be concerned with trying to get the dress. If you can do that I'd go. As for it being close to your mother's anniversary, I'd like to think that she would want you to go on and live your life and be happy and enjoy yourself. I say, if you can get the dress, go. If not, get your friend a nice gift and give it to her with your regrets.

Nuriko

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Especially Nuriko and Tasuki.

Thank you very much for your advice on how to deal with being shy. I'll try to put it to practice and eventually stop it from ceasing my socialising with others.

Now, there's another thing that is bothering me that I'm hoping that both of you can help me with. I feel I need to be stronger as a person. There are times I feel I am a weak person. It's kind of hard to put it into words, but it's just the feeling I get.

I am unable to protect my loved ones, you probably heard from Tamahome about how I felt I failed my brother when he was being hurt at school so many years ago. Usually, I'm the one who needs to be protected, and when things become too hard, I hide.

I can't assert myself well enough so that I can make it clear that I do want to do something and don't want to be forced into doing anything, so often times I am a follower. Once, that got me in trouble. I didn't assert myself enough when my brother suggested we go into town when Dad said we shouldn't, and so I wound up undergoing something traumatic.

My counsellor told me that if there was anything I wanted to talk about then I should speak up and let him know. But, I can't even get up the nerve to do that!

Sheesh, I'm just presenting one problem after another to you all, aren't I? Now, I'm feeling bad about it, there are others in the world undergoing worse things than I am... I really do appreciate the advice that everyone has given me. But, like I mentioned in an earlier letter, I have a lot of problems and really need to deal with them, but I can't do it alone. However, I'm not good at voicing it out (probably explains why counselling never worked in the past, because I never voiced out about my problems) and so I find writing to you all very therapeutic... but it's probably getting bothersome for you. Is it?

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

It sounds like the best thing for you would be to take an assertiveness training course. If nothing else you need o talk to your counselor about being more asserive and how you can go about it. Good luck!

Nuriko and Tasuki

Dear Tamahome,

Thank you very much for reading and responding to my letter.

My brother always makes me worry about him. He has a tendency to get into trouble. Earlier this year, he nearly got locked up, I won't go into too much detail, but it was because someone who has been giving him trouble since school gave him even more trouble. It's like the guy was just begging for my brother to hurt him!

Sometimes I feel as if I want to give up, but then I think again and realise that if I do, that will just make things worse for him. I don't really understand how he manages to attract the wrong crowd. I never have...

Sometimes his friends seem like the right sort of people for my brother to hang around with, but they only use the polite words and that to get into our good graces. But, we'll always... always side with my brother, so if they hurt him or cause him to get into big trouble, we know we never want to see them.

My brother no longer lives with my father and I, so it's hard to know what he's doing. I'm glad that the people he's living with are good people. Even our grandfather holds my brother's housemate and her mother in high regard, and that's something because he had never really trusted my brother's friends in the past. I really hope that now he'll avoid getting into more trouble.

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

You're very welcome. I hope he stays out of trouble, too.

Tamahome

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

hello, minna-san, how are you all? I hope you're all well!

Ah, so you've been reading the manga publications in Shoujo Beat? Awesome, I can ask this next question without confusing anybody too much!

My question, that I'd like each of you to answer individually, is which of the Hachiyo do you think you are most like?

I'm looking forward to reading your answers!

Dear Btamamura-chan,

We're not sure. But we'll do our best...

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hello amigos! Shirayuki's back, and Merry Christmas!! ^^

Well, a short summary-slash-update on "Shirayu-Life": I lost my First Honor rank (I KNEW it!), tried to study harder, got good grades for English Geometry (as usual, but with unforseen mistakes), a perfect 95% class standing for Chinese Math (WHOA! But hey- it's true!), got low scores on Chemistry experiments (don't know why either, but I passed them of course), became the emcee for this school year's Intramurals Opening with Jennilyn-senpai, took the long exams in hopes of high grades, attended the class (Christmas) party and the parish Christmas party, and am still hoping to get good results for the exams (especially Quanti-slash-computations).

And guess what I saw on TV 5 yesterday? FY- as in Fushigi Yuugi- will be shown again as a primetime anime- in Tagalog! It's unbelievable! I was screaming all day about it until my brother and I left for the parish Christmas party. I mean, like, I watch it almost everyday, and how could I have missed it? It's good news; please let all the Filipinos on Ask the Suzaku Seishi know! Wai~! *totally on high at the moment*

I already -FINALLY- finished Fushigi Yuugi: Beautiful in My Eyes! (But the uploading will have to wait.) And my gosh, I haven't uploaded the Fiesta video, have I? My Goodness!.. Oh, and I have a new video project in the initial stage- To Love for the First Time, featuring, like, the first 12 or so episodes- to the tune of "Perhaps Love" (Korean: Sa-rang In Ga Yo) by Howl and J! (Finally, I get to make it!) But I have to make my video project discreet, for if my brother finds out, he's gonna have a hissy fit!

Well, that was long. I better stop here. Happy holidays minna! ^^

Sode no Shirayuki

Dear Sode no Shirayuki,

We're glad to be back! Merry Christmas to you too! Good luck on getting better grades and with your video project.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

If a girl doesn't have any suitors or boyfriend yet does that mean that she is unattractive?

No Boyfriend Since Birth

Dear No Boyfriend,

No, it just means that she hasn't found anyone suitable yet.

Nuriko

Dear Chichiri,

Thank you for giving me the page on Vocaloid. Now I just need sufficient funds to get it. XD; (And the nightmare that comes with it of learning to use the program. x____x) Things are slowly looking up, despite having back pains, narcolepsy, and apparent lightheadedness lately. I've been writing a lot more though. :3 And I don't have to see people I hate Sunday. Instead, I can stay home, relax, and write. All day. o3o; Yep, that's how I choose to start my Christmas break. Writing. And nothing else. I'm progressing very well with Awakening. :3 I'd say something, but, I'm being careful to keep the majority of it to myself, only giving few sparce details to the growing list of people who want to know when it will be released. (...I'm scared it won't live up to expectations, but excited, because so many people are interested.)

Kaguya-Hime

Dear Kaguya-Hime,

You're welcome. You should take better care of yourself and get more rest, no da. Good luck with your writing!

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

When is the next Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden coming out? I need to know!! ~Thanks :]

Cailey

Dear Cailey,

You might want to check out viz.com forthat information. All we know is that it is sometime next year.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

merry christmas guys!! oh b4 i forgot... fy is back!!! woohooo and i missed it for so long!!!

jam2

Dear jam2,

Merry Christmas to you, too!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Wow, congrats on the potential straight A's! But my condolences go to Doc-sama and family as well. Man, 2008 has really been harsh to everyone, hasn't it?

No, I wasn't hurt when I fell off. Not even a scratch. ^_^ And I was laughing like crazy too. Well, at least I learned a good lesson: Don't try to ride a skateboard on an empty stomach, which I did... haha...

Yeah, well, Mom said I could have something from the Sims 2 series for Christmas if I wanted to. And that would be the expansion pack. Then again, my copy of Sims 2 is a rip-off, I might as well ask for an original copy... XD And I keep forgetting to check the TV for Filipino FY. At least Marvin's back in the fandom (he's our neighborhood Chichiri--reserved, but crazy).

Yeah, we had fun in the party. I even succeeded in getting a mystery gift of mine to my classmate, who really liked it. :)

Well, that's about it. Despite every bad thing that happened this year, I hope you--and everyone else--will have a blessed Christmas, and may the New Year be a reprieve for everyone.

SuzakuAngel

P.S. No, Tamahome, I haven't seen anyone about it. I told Mom, but she was just quiet. Ah well... I guess I can live a happy life even with it. Then again, the most prevalent symptom in me is the intrusive and disturbing one... >_<

Dear SuzakuAngel,

We're glad you're not hurt. Please be more careful next time. Arigato for th kind wishes. We also wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hey all, been a little while. Well work is pretty much AWESOME I mean I get GOOD pay I get free 230$ a month for medical use AND I'm in the 125 plan where I'm having about 56$ a paycheck taken outta my check so it won't get taxed and its going to my insurance so :D but yeah then at my christmas party at work we got free St Croix clothes. I got 2 tee shirts FREE that value equaling 300$ AND we had a FEAST of turkey, ham, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry, sauce, rolls, corn, gravy, and for someone who doesn't like turkey and ham it was SOOOOOOO YYYYUUMMMYYYYY :D OMFG lol I mean I could've got a jacket thats worth easily 500$ lol and y'know what my dad gets at his job? a gift card for a grocery store, and its not a lot lol he's like LUCKY but I gave him one of the tee shirts lol but I think I'm retiring my signature tee shirts (that what a lot of people remember me for are my funny tee shirts) I'm going to have some out yet but my new thing is Ralph lauren, I know that they're EXPENSIVE clothes but they seem tough and they're COMFY and they're nice so thats one thing I'm going to wear now. I want to be myself yet but in a new way lol. Plus a lot of people think I look really nice in clothes like that. Like people at work came up to me and said I should dress like that more, that I look really cute and pretty. I DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM PEOPLE lol. Well I'm going to get going so I'll ttyal :D

the Nachoknot

Dear the Nachoknot,

It sounds like you had a good time at your Christmas party. Your boss certainly is generous! I like Ralph Lauren clothes, too. If there is a Bloomingdales or Macy's near you, you should check out their clearance sales for Ralph Lauren. I remember once that CnA got a pretty pink $300 sweater on clearance for about $30.

Nuriko

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Oh, and one more thing about the skateboard incident: Lately, all I've done whenever I get into a minor accident (e.g. falling off a skateboard, nearly getting my thumb sliced off by a skate blade) is laugh hysterically at myself. O_o Guess I won't be laughing at myself with this sanity damage...

By the way, last night I had a chocolate chip cookie which was so chock-full of choco chips (heehee, minor pun there) that it looked weird. I was actually a bit terrified, I thought the cookie might bite me. Hahahaha... *laughs in an unstable psychotic manner*

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

*Backs away slowly...*

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

I'm okay except for whiplash.

Car's totaled. Had to get a new one with loans from my parents, since I can't afford one until I get the money for totaling out my car and from all the medical sh*t i have to go through. It's a pretty good new one, too, which is a good thing.

And the other driver couldn't possibly pull a hit and run stunt. My car came out the "winner" of that crash. Funny thing is, hers was a $40k, 2006 Buick and mine was an ancient (by car model standards) Subaru. Turns out those things are built like tanks. *grins evilly*

Ayame

Dear Ayame,

Well, we're glad you're glad your car was built like a tank and you weren't seriously injured!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

I think tv5 is not on cable.. anyway, i missed you guys! i hope i they show the OVAs too. :D

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

We missed being here! Oh, someone else told us it was. Or maybe we misunderstood them.

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

Hey guys! ^_^ How's everyone? Four words: Mission Christmas Party--ACCOMPLISHED!

So, I woke up not too early today (insert thought "Why couldn't I have slept like this during the field trip?" here), and got a great get-up--this pink halter top and twiggy-leg jeans, and white heels which made my feet ache badly, plus a pink track jacket and white leggings (I'll tell you why later on). I went to school early, and I was just the third person to enter the classroom.

The party started at 8:00 AM when we said the morning prayer and played the Egg-Catching Relay (my partner and I were one of the seven finalists! Whee!), the Citrus Relay (I went really fast), the Paper Dance (I tried to ride piggyback on my partner's back), the Apple-Eating Contest, Bebot (those girl clothes looked REALLY good on Daniel!), Longest Line (I stripped my pants off... that's why I wore leggings), and the Best Impersonator contest (I think I did pretty well, but Haruka was great!). I won prizes for Longest Line and Best Impersonator. ^_^

And then, we had a hearty lunch, during which I hogged a lot of gravy and my teacher smothered ice cream all over my face. -_- I got the wallet I always wanted, too.

Well, that's about it for now. I'm feeling kinda lazy. ^_^"

SuzakuAngel

Dear SuzakuAngel,

It sounds like you had a lot of fun at your party!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Hotohori,

OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG!!! >>; Hi :3 >w

~OmgItsTsukiChan!~

Dear TsukiChan,

Hello to you, too.

Hotohori

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

oh my gosh you guys!!! one of the TV networks here in our country has started to broadcast again FY! but i think it's dubbed in our native language which is Filipino or Tagalog -_- ugh. anyways, it's really been a while because aside from the OVAs, the last time i've seen the tv series was when i was 12 years old! weee!! i missed FY and i'm glad it's back!!! :D

Frikey

Dear Frikey,

Isn't it on one of your cable channels? We're glad it's back too!

Suzaku Seishi

Dear Tamahome,

i love you

hollie

Dear hollie,

Arigato.

Tamahome

Dear Hotohori,

why did you just let go of miaka like that so easily? you should have fought for her, you have fight for what you feel. :)

mae

Dear mae,

Perhaps, but she was never meant to be mine.

Hotohori

Dear Tamahome,

hey there, how are you? How's Miaka?

I once came out of school and saw somebody hoping to hurt my younger brother. At first I tried to stop the fight myself, but everybody watching it kept egging them on and laughed when I screamed for them to knock it off. I didn't want my brother to get hurt after all.

I knew I needed help, so I hurried to find a teacher. Unfortunately, the first teacher I found had retired as of that day, so he didn't have the authority to do anything about it. I had to hurry to find another teacher and fast.

I found him and told him what was going on. We ran back to where they were and found it was too late. My brother was hurt, crying, and the crowd had dispersed. I sat with my brother while the teacher went to get the vice-principal. We told him what had happened, and the next day, the bully was called into his office.

It was so many years ago back when I was still in school with my brother. But I still feel bad about not getting there in time to save him from being hurt. I felt I'd let him down, like I was a bad big sister for not protecting him like I was meant to. But, everyone kept telling me I wasn't to blame for him being hurt, I tried to find help when I realised I couldn't stop it alone.

There was another time when he needed me, and thankfully I didn't let him down otherwise he wouldn't be here...

Back when I was 7 and he was about 4, we went to the public pool with Mum, our aunt and our baby cousin. My brother nearly drowned that day, he fell out of his floatation ring. I couldn't swim too well myself, also using one of those rings, but I pulled mine off and ducked underwater to grab him and pull him up again. Thankfully it wasn't too deep for me there. Mum was in the showers and my aunt was meant to be watching us, but she didn't... I nearly lost him that day, but I was able to save him.

But, when he was being hurt at school, I couldn't do a thing! I still feel bad about it, Tamahome, despite how long it has been. Even my brother told me he was glad I tried my best, but I still feel I failed him...

Anyway, on a lighter side, if I don't hear from you beforehand, I hope you and Miaka have a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

I don't think you ever failed him. I think you're a great big sister!

Tamahome

Dear Mitsukake,

hey there, how are you and Tama-neko?

The weather has been crazy lately and it is starting to take its toll on my body. I've had a fever and a couple of stomach problems that weren't pleasant. Is it really the weather doing this to me? How can I work through it? Thanks, Mitsukake!

If I don't hear from you and Tama-neko beforehand, I hope both of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

It could be that the changes in the weather are causing your immune system to weaken so you're more susceptible to getting sick. Get more rest and make sure you eat a well-balanced diet.

Mitsukake

Dear Tasuki,

hey there, how are you going?

I was wondering... since you don't seem all that shy to me (in my opinion, a shy person wouldn't include certain words when in public, I certainly don't!), and I am pretty shy around new people, well... do you have any tips to help me deal with being so shy? I want to try to beat it or at least try to keep it from stopping me from having a good time with people. I'm even shy around family if I haven't seen them all that much and so... I don't want to be so shy anymore, I want to start being better around people. I'll need to be when I finally get a job. Thanks, Tasuki!

If I don't hear from you beforehand, Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

Hmmm... I dunno. I jus' talk an' don't care who or if anyone is listenin'. *Grins*

Tasuki

Dear Nuriko,

hey there, how are you?

Thank you very much for the belated birthday greetings, I appreciate it! The dress really is pretty, I need to get a photo of myself in it and link you to the peeji when I finally do post it online.

The Christmas party was wonderful. My counsellor, Bernie, provided some great music on the day. I went with my friend and "sister" Tash, so unfortunately I still hid from people I didn't really know. I only spoke to them if Tash started to. Otherwise, I just stayed with her and tried to avoid too much social interaction with strangers. Do you have any ideas on how I can beat that issue? I need to overcome my shyness otherwise I'll never be that good with people... Aside from the hiding from others, the party was wonderful and both Tash and I left with a gift each.

Yesterday (December 15) was Tash's birthday, she's 20 now. We saw the movie Twilight at the movies, it was pretty good for a love story involving a mortal girl and a guy vampire. I told Dad about it, and he remarked "I thought you don't like vampires", but that's only the case if it's scary. It was kind of more of a fantasy/horror/romance film in my opinion.

I'm probably being a bit annoying sending you these types of letters, but I enjoy sharing my news with someone who'll actually pay attention.

Anyways, if I don't hear from you and the others beforehand, Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

How to overcome shyness? That's a difficult one! I would have to say you just need to put yourself out there and talk to people. I know it's difficult, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes.

Nuriko

Dear Suzaku Seishi,

I am writing to tell you all something about myself... I am gay...

I told some of my family, and many of my friends. I feel so blessed that they have accepted me.

I wanted to tell my friends on my livejournal last night, and saw I had responses from many of them reassuring me that I'm still their friend and they accept me no matter what choices I've made.

My father, brother, two aunts, one uncle, two cousins and one soon to be cousin-in-law were also very accepting. When I told one of my aunts and she accepted it without any hesitation, I burst into tears, I was that thankful. She even told me that Mum would've accepted me as well. I believe that.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you all that.

Btamamura-chan

Dear Btamamura-chan,

We're honored that you trusted us enough to come out to us. *Gives her a hug.* We're also very glad to hear that your family is supportive of you and have accepted you without hesitation. You are truly blessed.

Nuriko
