Hello there, Suzaku Seishi! Long time no write. Doubtless you've forgotten about me, but that's okay, since you've got a million other people writing to you all the time. ^.^ Anyway, I felt like writing today... Partially because I've gotten back into your series (thanks to an RP partner who will go unmentioned) but also because I have a question.

I'm going to be going to Japan this summer for study abroad, and I'll be spending most of my time in Osaka, though I'll also be in Tokyo for a bit. Do you have any tips for someone who's never left her home country before? I'll be gone for a month, if that counts for anything. If you're busy, then if you could show me a link or two that might help me get in the right direction, that'd be wonderful too.

I'll not keep you guys, as you've probably got a million letters to answer. So! Thanks for your time and take care.

Monday, April 16, 2007. 4:55 PM.

*sigh* It's been another long day. My weekend was the pits. I had ACT testing again on Saturday an' after I got home I slept. Then on Sunday I woke up not feelin' too well an' I started getting all snappy and p*ssy fer now reason... an' t'day I figured out why. Sheesh, I've been on birth control fer a couple months now an' the pain still hasn't subsided nor has my acne cleared up. AHH! Not t' mention I'm in total agony with school.

I have three tests tomorrow. A web design test, an algebra test, an' an American Greats test.. Blahhhh... I'm not in the mood to study 'r even t' type letters! I woulda wrote in this morning, but I didn't feel like it. How weird! I always wanna talk t' you but earlier I didn't... Either way I'm feelin' like cr*p with tests loomin' in my future AS WELL as a possibility that I MIGHT have to change my fourth hour again.

Because 4th hour is usually when all the kids have music classes, the kids who don't have it usually aren't the brightest or most motivated... I admit I kinda fall into that category, but I had t' drop choir. An' NOW American Greats is filled with those unmotivated kids an' it's driving Juaire-sensei crazy! I love pretty much all the english teachers, i do, an' it hurts me t' see 'er dealin' with the mold of the crop as it were. Ma had t' go an' mention this to her, so now I have the option of independent study. (I'd get to basically learn everythin' on my own outside of the classroom) I dunno if I wanna do that... I'll hafta talk with Juaire-sensei a lil more.

AND as if Monday couldn't get any worse, our principal is RETIRING!! She's the only woman who ever accepted me an' if she leaves, god only knows what kinda corupted money driven @$$hole will get next year!! The administration finally got to her I guess... they work her to the point of illness so I can understand why she's retire, but I also feel like I'm being abandoned. All this "we stick together, never give up." What will we do if we lose someone who truly unified our school? It'll be chaos! I cried when I read the notice ma got in her school mail...

Gods, it ain't about me ya know... I'm worried about kids like me! They need a principal who cares about the students an' facalty more than a paycheck! When I had a breakdown earlier this year, ya wanna know what the administration did about it? "I'm sorry, all the councelors are in a meeting." $#*! UPON F**KIN' $#*! A councelor's first duty is too the students! An' lemme tell ya, the vice-principal-who is leaving this year as well- don't give a d@mn either! Only Wondrasch-sensei cares an' now she's leavin'!! D@MN IT!!

I'm so tired... an' my stomach is really botherin' me... an' it's 70 degrees outside... mind you we just had 5 inches of snow less than a week ago! We have no spring... an' rapid transitions ain't good fer me! It sure as h3ll don't help that I'm startin' f*ckin' PMS!! RAGHH!! I can't stand this... so moody... but I don't feel like strangling anybody... I just wanna blow $#*! up with my mind. Heheh... awesome.

Dear Nuriko,

I'm writing a story and it's about a young fox demon and a young man. The fox demon's name is Sora, and the man is Bankotsu... yeah it's a story on my fav inuyasha character Bankotsu... anyway Sora is weak and searching for food because she hasn't eaten in days. So she decides to change form from a fox demon to a young teenaged girl. she's right about to enter a village to beg for food when she's stopped by a monk who figures out she's a demon and causes her to transform back. she runs away and finds a injured man lying on the grass with a gashing wound on his gut. so Sora goes over and helps him by transfering his wound to her using a magical everlasting leaf that she possesses(sp?) she collapses and faints and he gets up and takes her to his place where he finds out her name and where she came from. than he brings her food. she eats and then falles asleep. than she dreams of her brother, mother and father. she calls out "Mama! Papa! why arent you moving!? Get up! We have to go!" then her brother appears behind her and tells her that they wont get up. she realizes that he's covered in their blood and that he killed them. than he says "I killed them... and now i'm gonna kill you. DIE SORAAAAA!!" than he penetraites her chest with his claws killing her. then Sora wakes up screeming and startles Bankotsu. he askes her what's wrong and she says she has a bad dream. after she says that, Bankotsu's brother, Renkotsu, comes into the room, looks at Sora, than leaves after he asks what she's doing at their home. Bankotsu then wraps his arms around Sora and holds her close telling her it's gonna be alright. that's as far as i got. it's already 7 pages long typed on the computer. i'll try sending it once i'm done! ^^

Does it sound good? My friends at school have all read it including my teacher and more than half of them said that i should get it published once i'm finished with it. They say it's that good. Than they said if they could rate it 1-5 they'ed give it a 10.

Telling a teacher would be nice, but they can't do much now. At this point, I am the only one who can take care of myself. Or who is willing to, anyway.

And knowing my sister, she probably will try to force me to trust her, but what you said is right. It's her problem. And quite honestly she can deal with it on her own.

Ah well. On a brighter note, I got these little rub on things for crafts. I doubt that it is supposed to go on your clothes, but it looks cool like that anyway. And because I am into different symbols and such, it's even better. I also got a CD that is supposed to help you sleep. Or at least that is what it says. I am not sure how they would exactly go about testing that, but whatever. It sounds pretty. And if it does help me sleep, I am all for it. Better than going to go talk to some therapist. XD

Can't complain. We only went to this one place, but it was a huge-huge mall with just about everything you could imagine! I pretty much stayed in the manga section on the floor that held all the books. I just regret I had so little time in Japan... 6 actual days. I sure hope I can go back someday...

*yawn* I'm tired... an' a bit cold. More so than usual because I gave blood last week an' the less of that red fluid ya have, the easier it is t' get cold, but ever since I came upon my 17th birthday, I've wanted t' start doin' somethin' good with m' life. I'm actually donatin' it. I found it surprisin' that neither of my folks have ever given blood. I'm the first! But my arm still hurts... an' there's some slight bruisin'... oh well. I'm used t' havin' blood drawn, 'cept ya know what? They had a problem gettin' the flow goin' int' the lil tube! It only hurts when they keep messin' with it... argh. (My medic guy who drew my blood reminded me of Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist! Personality an' physically! Weird...)

Anyways... I've decided I'd like t' know this Brooklyn-kun a lil more so if he goes here http://suirenshinju.deviantart.com/ he should be able t' find my messenger. An' I'm not gonna give 'im a pic until I know what his motives are. If it's friends, okay then. But if he's lookin' fer somethin' more from this tomboy, we need t' establish what I call "blind love". I got my class ring ordered finally and then I visited my grandpa I haven't seen for nearly a year and got another microphone for my PS2 ^^ BUT then I had a kidney stone attack TWICE!! I had them near ten years ago.. The youngest patient my doc has seen with 'em.. But any way THESE ARE NO LAUGHING MATTER THEY FREAKING HURT!!!! I'm glad I passed them though! So then started new classes and I got Biodiversity, German 4, Money and MAth (EASY CLASS lol) and Grammar and Comp. Then it turns out my mom is really low on bucks and I hope everything works out so we don't have to move... But yeah.. Hmm.. OH then at the lunch table I'm getting all GRR cuz there's NO ROOM!!! Everyone brings to much junk! I mean I guess its cut down a bit but sometimes its like AHH. I mean me and twiny have the Ozai shelter and our lunch boxes but we fuse our places together. *Sweeps everyone into a tight hug* Glad you guys are back! How was the paper and the trip?

Everything's the same for me. It's summer here, and my computer and I are gonna be like twins. So, we had Recognition Day practice and I was part of the select doxology singers. We were supposed to have solos, including me, but they were taken out, and Lilian (my classmate) was really upset about it, 'cause she had a solo too. I kinda was upset too, but... oh well... Our awards weren't announced during rehearsals, and lucky Lilian was given the leaflets by Ms. De Jesus (a teacher) to hold. They were graduation leaflets, but there was ooone recognition leaflet that we irresistably peeked into. I was so happy, 'cause--OH YEAH!!!--I got 6 outta 10 awards! The rankings were starting to get obvious, but I didn't rely on it. I really waited to hear it from Dr. Cecille (vice-principal) herself, and it was worth it. I got Top 1!!!

Fast forward to the day itself, which happened to fall on my dad's birthday, March 24. It was okay, but we lacked some singers for the doxology, and I had to take one of their places... and y'know, it was all because he didn't have the proper outfit. o.o

And, coincidentally, the release of report cards fell on Hotohori-sama's birthday (belated happy birthday again, Sire!). I got an average of 95.4, and I was happy with it. Smiling, Ms. Alma showed me the school's brochure, and MY PICTURE WAS ON IT! Our class picture with Mr. Groves (British school admin member) was there too, although I know SOME people didn't deserve to be there. I'm not bragging, really, please believe me! >_<

And then summer. I guess that's about it. Ja ne! *walks gracefully--and backwards--out*

Haha. Not sure if you remember me or not, but ah well.

Instead of having to actually call the cops on my sister, she ended up in jail sometime back in December. And she is still there, but she thinks that she is coming home in just a couple of days. Now, I am all for forgiveness, but I am not sure if I should really trust her. I mean, she has done a lot of things.. and, well, I don't want to get hurt again.

I tried telling my mom about this, and she just said that I didn't have heart. Which actually kind of made me mad, but whatever. I've never been good enough for. Her loss. And my dad assures me that she will be long gone if she does anything to me again... but he said that before. And the only reason she was gone is because she had to go to jail.

In any case, I don't know what to do really. About my sister, I mean. A big part of me is afraid she is going to go back to the way she used to.. you know, with all drugs, drinking, and abuse. And quite frankly, this is the only place that I can live at. I don't have the money for my own place, and no one to stay with. Otherwise I would be long gone. And the school thing didn't work out either.

Sometimes I really feel like I am going insane.

Weather Conditions in Winona: There's about 6 inches of snow outside that wasn't there yesterday an' it just keeps comin' down. It's especially slushy.

Hehehe, I've never been t' Tokyo. The first night of the school trip we stayed in Yokohama then the next day we headed up north on the bullet train. I really wish we coulda had some time in Tokyo, but Winona's sister city is about half hour away from Sendai. We at least got to go shopping there. Yay Sendai! *sniffles* i wanna go back so bad... but first I need money.

Speakin' o which, I'm gonna apply for a job at a grocery store. (I gotta finish fillin' out the application first) I hope I can get a job an' start investin' my cash right away. I've never had any form of income so even if I just kept a dollar for myself, I'd be happy. I'll probably wait a lil while tho anyway as my face is breakin' out again an' when I go t' clean 'em off, I start bleedin' all over the place! Sheesh! It's so god d@mn annoyin'! I'll never be pretty...

But more an' more people just keep tellin' me how "cute" I am. Now I'd question that. Listen t' this, I met a new buddy on deviantart. Nice girl. We have a lot in common. Anyways, she was wonderin' what I looked like so I sent 'er a pic an' she said "yer so cute!". Old ladies come up t' me an' tell me how cute I look. Maybe my eyes are so bad that all I see is an ugly lil' girl, but hey! I'm not complainin'! If people think I'm cute, maybe I can finally get a boyfriend!

While we're on the subject, more an' more people keep sayin' t' me "i'll find ya someone. Don't worry." Have they done this? No. But this Brooklyn boy seems suspicious. No offense Brooklyn-kun, but ya keep askin' all about me yet we don't know anythin' about you. How can I trust yer really a guy an' not one of my friends playin' a joke on me? Yay! You're back! I have managed to thoroughly terrify my relatives. We had to go to my Grandmother's birthday, and I decided I'd dress differently and look different. Soooo... I tied my hair up in a ponytail, and I have these little purple flowers that I put in my hair, well I rbought my TMRevolution CDs with me, I was actually dressed in a sort of Lolita styled outfit, and the entire night I was speaking what little Japanese I know at the time. Then when I finally started speaking English, I started spouting out Japanese History.

My family thinks I belong in a mental instituion because of this. Cept my cousin. She's cool, weird, but cool. Oh, it got really funny because Gram's is Christian and she tried to get me to read the Bible. She kept asking why I wouldn't AFTER I thoroughly explained about six times.

Oh! The doctor says I HAVE to eat fatty foods. Apparently I'm a few pounds underweight. I've known this for years, but nothing I do works. I like being thin... ._. But I don't want to be a bloody toothpick all my life. And mom's about to go crazy because I started listening to Gackt out of pure and eternal boredom.

We finished up the term just fine, excepting the fetal pig disection... I went thru with it an' skinned it, popped out the eyeballs, an' held it's heart in my hand... I dunno why i did it... it felt wrong to do such things, even for a scientific purpose...

An' we're in week two of term 4. I have Web Page design 2, Grammar an' Comp, Advanced Algebra, an' American Greats. Web page is awesome!! if I pass with a B or higher I get a certificate an' college credit! I'm so excited, but right now we're just in review of ol' stuff. *sigh*

Yes I did the imposible that day and got Tsukasa off me shortly I said bye! Though today he still wasn't feeling well so off to the doctors... *blushes* M-Me? A boy wants t' talk t-t' me? Well uh... Brooklyn-kun was it? You can call me Suiren 'r Emily. (neither of which are my real name but Emily will be my real name once I change it) An' yes, I'm a girl... even though I really don't like being one.

I'm gonna be 17 on Friday, an' I have pale ivory skin, dirty blonde hair an' deep blue eyes that can't focus sh*t so I have rimless glasses. I wear a retainer, but my teeth are almost fully straightened... I suffer greatly from acne... an' I have no bust what so ever. If ya poke my shirt, the air comes out an' I'm flat. (Not kiddin') About 5'5" an' 110 pounds of bone an' skin. If that's yer idea of cute then okay, but I think I'm pretty ugly... so please don't get yer hopes up. Beautiful people never really seem t' suffer so much anyway (or so it seems)... no offence, but I bet you ain't mister pretty-boy are ya?

An' Tasuki-sama, YOU think I'm cute? Ya lil bandit of hearts! I'm barely average. *giggles* It's hard t' stay mad when I'm bein' called cute... 'course i do like my lil feet an' nose along with my super high pitched sneeze. That's what I think is cute about me...

OFF THAT, I was SOOO tired today lol. The bus I was ZONING out and I actually thought it was kinda funny lol ^^ 1st hour was so boring though. German has just kinda gone down hill, but I think it's because it's almost the end of the 3rd term and break is so close so yeah. I"m actually enjoying 2nd hr so yay ^^ I think I did REALLY good on my project so WHOO ^_^ 3rd hr... math is math lol. And band has been better. BUt I went to orchestra yesterday and the songs are SOOOOOOOO easy!!! It's not even funny!! Though the one I have A LOT of 2nd valve fingerings so that's easy lol. Then yeah... Anything else new... Um I get to go get new pants tonight at the mall cause I NEED them lol. THe ones I have now are waaaay too short lol. After tonight though, I am spending NOTHING until after I get bk from Bemidji next month. (Okay I'll probably go see the 300 with a friend over break lol) Other than that though..
