O.o Hey Nuriko... I just found out that some random girls I do not even know have been gossiping about me *tears* Saying that I am ugly and the like... and I am all confused because I do not even know them (they hang out with the rocker group I am with, so they see me coming and going) and I was never really insulted on my looks before, on the contrary, people say I look nice. Did I bump them in the halls by accident or something? It is discouraging that they are saying mean things and I do not even know who they are. What should I do?

I'm going to be going to Japan in about 5 weeks, and I know the language relatively well ... but my translation speed is SLOW, especially when speaking! I tried to get a conversation partner last semester, but things didn't exactly go as planned ... I don't know of anyone who speaks Japanese fluently who I can practise speaking with regularly, which has me a bit worried. How do I improve my translation speed at least to the point where both 1- the people there won't think I'm an idiot or something, and 2- I can actually make friends there (after all, it's difficult to make friends with someone when they can't even understand what you're saying)? (That's really the ONLY thing I'm nervous about, by the way ^_^ I'm really looking forward to it!)

Also, I have a bit of a problem with self-abuse. I've tried pretty much everything -- I've tried punishing myself (which didn't work too well since that only made me angrier at myself and tempted me even more to do it again), helping someone else also break a bad habit (it's working to some degree, but of course it still happens every once in a while), even scare tactics. I've also tried finding something I like about myself; all I can come up with there, though, is my looks, and even that hasn't stopped it. What else is there to try?

She said she was going skiing for the weekend and would be back in the week but she's still not here, and she won't answer my text message. But the thing is before mass is over, they make these announcements and my parents hate it because they go on and on and on.. so we always leave right after communion, and I don't get a chance. Chichiri, i have a problem.. I always feel alone and depressed.. The only times i am really happy, is when i am alone or with my friends.. I dont know why though. All i do anymore is suclude myself in the basement, listen to music and work on my story and chat with my friend. I dont spend any of my time anywhere else in the house. My friend has an issue when she has a habbit of pushing away anyone that cares for her, and I know this, but, still, it kinda hurts. She's been my best friend for five years, ya know? She's really like the only friend I got... How sad is that? I mean I got other friends, just I don't trust them. naturally slow metabolism bites... i got a brother over here.. his metabolizm runs faster than miaka who just spotted an eintire dining room of food... so he can eat what he wants and.. poof... nothing... mine.. ha.. miaka drop dead ASLEEP in that deep REM sleep moved faster than the metabolizm i got! everything i eat just sits.. and sits.. and sits.. what the f*#@! is it waiting for?! a nuriko special?! o.O;; hee hee...

i guess in my case.. just a healthy diet and exsercise otta do it... i'll be walking more once the wheather warms up.. it will be nice to walk across campus to classes... buuut.. according to wheather forecasts... 30's all week.. with maybe more snow T_T... there goes my walking... thank goodness for busses!

Playing a bit of the advice columnist here. You get such a diverse readership that at times I feel tempted to give some of my unqualified advice. Please be patient with me.

To Rei-chan: There's not much you can do to make your arms (or your upper torso) smaller. However, if you're still in the formative years, there's a good chance that you can make the rest of your body harmonize with what's already there. Exercise will certainly help you develop a body that looks well-proportioned. So, perhaps, might time. Different things develop at different rates, from what I can guess. Soon, I'd say, you'll be graceful-looking, from head to toe, if you want to be.

For Sailor Chibi Chibi: Studying can be broken into chunks, if you adhere to a schedule strictly - sometimes when I have three assigments, I'll study one, then go watch an animation episode, study another, watch another episode, study again. That way, you don't get bogged down with the amount you have to study.

Plus, find some interesting times to do your studying - if you have a long break in-between classes, that's optimal study time because you can't go to your distractions, plus the material will be fresh in your head. If you can utilize what you would normally think of as down time or wasted time to study, you'll find you have more time to have fun because you'll have your studying done. Getting into good study habits now will help you out in a lot of ways later.

Finally, for people who like to request the Seishi enter our world - they can't, nor would they necessarily want to. Remember what happens in the story when Miaka and Yui come home - and the consequences of those actions. As much fun as it might be to have them here, there are others who can take advantage of the bridge between worlds as well, and they might not have such good purposes in mind.

There, that's the end of the advice-giving part. The actual questioning part starts now, but it is related to another letter. Someone commented about fangirls being "gay", and Kyoko Masami rightly noted the dual meaning of the word. Considering the unique status some of the Seishi hold, I would like to know if there is as much covert hostility towards persons of different lifestyles and ethnicities in Konan as there is in our world (and in Kutou, apparently). Apologies to the Emperor - I'm not accusing him or his government of allowing it to happen or knowingly causing it, something I'm certain he would not favor, but I wonder whether it exists all the same.

Cleaning was interesting. Is that stuff KABOOM suppoed to turn a white toilet yellow? I mean with sploches? Can cleaning supplies expire? And that stuff is a joke, it doesn't work on a toilet well. -_- SO I had to use all this smelly stuff. It made me sneeze a lot and get a running nose but I opened the window and put the fan on (it was freezing out though!) Well, it's really clean now. I amaze myself ^_^ Of course, I've been really clumsy today. I dropped my water bottom 3 times (but caught them all three times also), I spilled milk on myself, and at church I almost missed the pew when I went to sit down. I am wearing low rise jeans and I never wear them, but these are sorta comfy. But there is like a little hole and I was trying to be careful sitting down. *sigh* I'm sort of scared in the future.. sometimes I feel like I will always be alone in my beliefs. There isn't any class or any activity tonight, just mass, so no teenagers really went. Except like.. well, the only teenager I saw besides myself was HIM. But then again,I don't scan the entire church, I just glance. It was really full of adults. He actually gives me hope. Everytime I go to mass, I always feel somewhat sad (that is, if I don't see him right away. He sits behind me.. like far in the back so I don't see him until later on when I need to turn around. I kept thinking after confirmation is over, I'll be alone at mass with only my parents, and all they do is gossip! -_- I was also thinking maybe he'd never come back and I'd only see him through biology. But to be completely honest, I felt renwed tonight when I saw him. This week made me feel so dead because he was sick all week. Not seeing his face, the back of his head, hearing his funny jokes, or his voice... it made me feel dead. I thought I would live the week of February. vacation in sadness because I wouldn't see him for another whole week. But I saw him...at least the back of his head, and I felt happy again. Still I keep thinking that I'm way out of line and that I'm being freaky thinking I was to protect him and care for him and stuff, and that these feelings are dumb. Yet at the same time, it feels like he is so in reach, and I wonder to myself "I wonder if he has any idea how wonderful and rare he is..." If I could, I'd go up to him and tell him, "Anata wa totemo OMOSHIROI desu" or "Anata wa... omoshirokute shinsetsu desu. Isshouni itai... itsumo isshouni "but he'd be like "waa?".

Lol I didn't feel it at all ^_^ IT didn't go through... see, momo and fencer and I were hanging out outside in a dilemma after anime club because momo-chan no okaasan was supposed to pick us up like she usually does but we couldn't get a hold of her. We all tried calling our parents but no one could drive us. So we were sitting, joking around outside, gurgling rootbeer and we saw the metal thing at the bottom of the shoe. I was like "how long has that been there?" My heel is pretty high, and it was twisted so I tried pulling it out but then tried using a thin rock. I broke it so it was stuck inside my heel, lol. The bottom of my shoe was coming off anyway so I was like "I'll rip it off and glue it back together later" lol. Dad got it out though. He said it was a miracle it didn't go through. *shrugs* Well anyway, I saw the end of dodgeball. I wish my parents weren't home though.. my parents don't really believe that being gay is okay, and at the end was this part and I froze 0_0 I mean, I don't hate people that are gay, I say whatever makes 'em happy but I was so scared they'd be like "What are you watching!?" lol.

My best friend has had terrible pain in her left arm. From her shoulder to her finger tips. It changes color and temperature often. It goes numb sometimes and you can't even touch it. Well first of all she's got this p*ss-@$$ prepy attitude, so she's not very nice to any one. The name calling is the real problem, alas i can't repeat those aweful words. And tell my folks or teachers? HA! They haven't done a d*mn thing! I've been an outcast in my family and at school for all of my life. I've gone to every single person who could do something and they just ignore it. What i hate the most is the sexual harrassment i got when i was in 7th grade! Again no one could do anything, either that or they just didn't pur forth an effort. It's not like my home life is any better! You think it's hard having older siblings?! Hehe I took your advice ^^ Yesterday Mom took me clothes shopping for pants in particular because there was a President's Day Blow Out sale at Sears. My favorite jeans for 5$ a pair!! So I bought some of those and 2 other pants, which are both comfy except that one of them is my worst enemy-low rise jeans. I mean, it sort of is comfy and I like them but I hate lowrise. I'll deal with it though.. my only problem is the shirts. I got one shirt, and one shirt only because I didn't like any others. I don't like those types of shirts with weird writing on them like "who needs boys when you've got credit cards?" I used to always wear them years ago. They just don't suit me. I like other types of shirts with writing on them, but Sears just didn't have them. Not to mention I need belts because my jeans are a size larger than what I usually wear (they didn't have sizes 12, 14 or 13/14, only odd numbers like 13 and 15.) I hope Momo still wants to take me to her favorite store.. they have good shirts there. I mean, a ton of times when I am looking at shirts and pants, I wonder if the designer was bored or running low on ideas. Lol just my opinion... I'm not the average teen when it comes to fashion, certainly everyone's realized that by now. tee-hee ^^ Not to mention Payless is right next door.. I need new sneakers. Did you know I had a metal corkscrew thingy embedded inside my sneaker?! It was in the heel, and these have secret high heels so it didn't go all the way through lol.

i USED to work weekends.. a total of 16-17ish hours.. but after NEXT weekend i am done.. no more work.. so my weekends are free... mondays thru thrusdays.. my blocked out time is from 11am untill 9pm.. since those are when my classes are.. but i have about a 2 hour break on all days... friday my class runs untill 12:30...

T_T i know my priority is school.. but it seems the moment i return to the dorm.. i head for computer or tv... and it seems i don't follow the "work first play later.." but instead.. it is reversed and i follow THAT..

Anyway, momo is on a snowboarding trip. She's going to get better than me at this sport, I know it lol. Hey, then we can race (though in all likelihood, I'd hurt someone) But when she comes back, she says she is going to drag me clothes shopping lol. She's always telling me that I am insecure and that is why I wear baggy blothes. She says that is what her mum says.. and really, she is right. I am insecure about my body, I admit it. I don't like those really tight shirts that show cleavage and I really dislike low rise jeans. Not comfy ^^;; But I work my way around. I've certainly changed.. I no longer wear really large t-shirts, I have been searching for shirts that are smaller in size. But I need new sneakers anyway.. I need less huge shirts! I guess it'll be good.. maybe I'll get a cute hat that I've always wanted. I've always wanted a hat to hide my face because if I was out somewhere, I didn't want to be seen by people from school or anything. I am VERY different outside of school than inside, fashion wise. I rarely wear my hair down at school. And when I do, it is after school at anime club. I wear tighter shirts and stuff outside school, and sometimes skirts. Lol so I'm gonna change a few things around here.

Also, how do you make your arms less... musclelly? Before you say "you don't want to do that", I do. It's like... um.. I'm not really comfortable sayin it on here but it's also like making a certain something else smaller also. (*not my butt though, those kickboxing workouts help a LOT!!) Um, my upper-chest area (as ha-chan calls it ^_^) I wish it was smaller and when I asked mum, she was like "you don't want to do that!" I'm like "YEAH, I DO". But I've learned to accept them now. My arms are so... masculine, sorta. My parents say I have beautiful arms. I like having good muscles but is there any way I can make my arms strong without making them all beefy looking? lol

I talked to his mom once about angels and seriously, her teachings were just like my mom's. I asked her if it was possible for angels to take human form for a short while and told her of stories I've read where someone would be doing something and someone would save them or tell them not to go somewhere or do something, and those people later found out that if they did go or did do, they would have died or gotten hurt or something terrible. She told me she didn't think it was as romantic as that, and that people themselves could be angels. I never really thought about that before.. lol well I'm sure I've found one ^_^ Lol. I don't know of many relationships that lasted through high school and out of high school... well, my parents did. But my parents are more than just hubbie and wife, they are best friends. They watch movies every friday night together, debate and gossip and joke around, tease each other.. that is why I want to be his friend.
