Okay I read these letters concerning a young ;ady named Stargirl. I figured since I have had similar problems with suicide and such but I never had the courage to do it BECAUSE I knew that there were people that cared. This young lady must realize that suicide and cutting arent her answer. Even though I dont know her, I still care about her and if she would like I could help her. There are alot of other motives other than cutting.

Okay I'm having a problem with this other lady blaiming you guys. What more can you guys do than suggest some numbers. There is only SO MUCH that you guys can do. YOur a wonderful emperor by the way... dont listen to what people say... because if they would actually THINK about what comes out of there mouths before they speak they would know that words hurt more than actions. Okay.. I've noticed all these dramatic letters and to sit there and blame people I doubt you know, is just pathetic. Why blame someone for your issues? Go get help, I really think you need it, whoever you are. Blaming others, especially the people that take the time to READ these letters of yours and help you out, isn't the way to go about this. I highly doubt they did anything to you, or CAUSED you to do anything to youself.. Only you can make you feel that way, not anyone else. So, if you're going to blame anyone, blame yourself, and it's not something you should talk about with everyone you speak with. It's just a way for attention, and if you really are cutting yourself, you need to get help, not spend your time looking for everyone else to blame and take pity upon you. And if you're not doing it, you really need help, just a different kind, like the Psychiatric kind. I'm not being mean, just honest. Sometimes when I'm honest, I seem blunt, which in turn seems rude, but I'm serious. I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, or act like I know everything, because I don't, no one does, and if you think you do, you're sadly mistaken. Anyways! Just seriously think of getting some help. And, sitting there making Hotohori, Tasuki, Nuriko, and the owner of the site feel bad/upset because you blamed them for what happen to YOU isn't right at all... So.. Yeah.. I'm leaving now, long messages ain't my thing.

Dear Chichiri,

*sings* we are Family! The link that was on a letter for a girl Samantha (that claimed she forgot her lyrics on stage... poor gal;_; ), I learned about that just today! Lol I don't watch saturday night live, and I'm not into ashlee simpson or anything but can you just imagine? No matter what you do on stage, it couldn't get more fake than that... ^^ I don't seem to get stage fright very much, or im not afraid to speak my mind on public which makes me a useful person for public speaking. It's just because I feel like I can share my thoughts on the matter and I don't care what someone thinks of me. So I stumble on a word, im not perfect! I forget what I was going to say. But the worst was in biology the other day when I raised my hand. She asked a question and in my mind I knew the answer, and I couldn't put it into words. SO I was like "well... um" and starting sentences and didn't finish, so I didn't even utter complete thoughts until I finally admitted that I couldn't find the words for my thought. It's funny that no one seemed too are except my teacher, who was trying to help me but it didn't work that well ^^ lol

Come on!! You don't need to be a shrink to see it... lol. I have low self confidence sometimes and I always feel like if I had a crush on this guy or that guy, he would be out of my reach. There are lots of foods that are out of my reach because they are so hard to get. Because I live alone with my mom and dad and both my oniisans moved out, we don't usually carry cookies or anything. Mostly because my parents are on the atkins diet. Not that I mind diet chocolate!! But It's rare that I get to have formal, pretty sweets. I could try making them, but I'd rather do it when people are out to avoid injury. But it would be a waste of money to buy the ingredients, it would all end up in my stomach, or in the trash.

But now I have a cough, which is even less pleasant because I cough on my friend ^^ Wait.. that's my secret weapon when I'm mad at her.. anyway, It's odd. 2 of my classes had subs today. And last week, 1. Remember how I told you that my french teacher was out the whole first month and we had that sub? well, when she came back, it was for like 1 week and a day. She's been out for 2 days. Well, the 1st day she was out, I was as well. The second day, I forgot to cover my french book, which would keep me after school. But she wasn't in ^^ It's funny, whenever I seem to forget my homework for a class, that class either has a substitude, or does not fall upon the day I have forgotton my homework. Today, our biology teacher was out. I'm not surprised, and I seriously hope she gets tons and tons of rest!! Friday morning, I had to come in for a lab I had to make up. She explained to me that she has a slight case of ammonia and has been taking this medicine that has her wired lol. She has been an insomniac for a couple of days, getting only an hour of sleep. She's been coughing like crazy also. Today we have her twice because we also have biology seminar (which goes with honors biology). So we had 2 free periods because no lesson plan was left. In history also, our teacher was out. So that was a free period too, except for one sheet. And we have a quiz tomorrow. It would have been nice to have a review, but fencer and I quized each other during class so it was okay. How are you guys feelin'? Anyone getting sick yet?

Couldn't help but noticing. If you are really cutting yourself, then you seriously need to get help. If it is a joke, then please refrain from any more of them because they are not funny, are offensive to other fans, and it is not something to be taken lightly. AS for if you truley are cutting yourself: Take Chichiri's advice: get help now. It may seem hard, but it helps. AS for your mom, you need to have a serious talk with her. Try to help her as best you can. Also, don't believe her if she says she isn't being overworked if you truley believe that she is; it is possible that she knows it more than you do, but since your dad isn't around, she probably feels she must be the strong leader. No one is supermom, remember that. I suggest that you set a special time to talk with her about how you feel. Don't say that you can't, because it's the best thing you can do. Also, about your sisters; if they are hitting you, you need to learn to stand up for yourself and talk to your mom about that also. If that doesn't seem to help, then get some help. It can be from a friend, adult, anyone that you trust.

The fact is, if you are cutting yourself, you need to express your emotion in a different way now. Writing your thoughts helps if you feel you can't talk to anyone. If you think someone will read it, then write your feelings and burn it. Being miserable is never an excuse to take your own life. Your mom gave you life so that you can live it, and to throw it away is a big waste. Don't forget, it can always be worse. You know, Momo-chan's mom has a friend who is blind. Her seeing eye dog just died, her daughter is dead, and she is the only one left, and lives alone. But she continues on living. I'm not lying either; it sounds like something from a soap opera, but that indeed can happen to people. Be grateful that you have family at all to begin with, and you would cause them grief if you decided to just stop living, despite what you may think. When all else fails, there's always this site. Anything to get your emotions out in a different manner. Cutting yourself or suicide has always seemed like, to me, a weak way out. It still amazes me how strong people are, no matter what has happened to them,they continue on living because they know that they can do something. *ahem* sorry, had to get it all out.

It's up to you whether or not you wish to post this; I meant it primarily for your own purposes, but it may be if you wish.

Thank you for your attentiveness to my concerns. I did not mean to indicate that I fault you for the actions that you have taken; indeed, I would likely have done similarly even now, rather embittered as I am by a trail of friends who cut themselves or threatened suicide or indicated severe depression and enlisted me into their confidences. These "friends" never got better, no matter how long I stayed up with them, no matter how many words I spoke, no matter how much comfort I tried to give, no matter how many times I pleaded with them to get help. They used my sensitivity to get an outpouring of attention and worry from me and others around them, when they really had no true intention of doing what they threatened. They were people who felt that they did not get enough attention and respect in their home lives and sought to use this method to gain sympathy. All I ended up in the end with is a drain upon my own emotions to the point where I reached depression myself. It's so difficult, isn't it, not to be able to help, even when you give every effort you have? I'm sure you must understand this.

I don't blame you whatsoever for responding; I believe it is human instinct to do so in such a situation. I admire that you give so willingly, and hope sincerely that you are never drained in the way I was.

This girl... I'm not certain whether her concerns are real or if this is merely imagined in rp to give dramatic angst -- I see the latter quite a lot. I too hope that if she does have true problems that she finds help for them. But if she's just doing this for roleplay purposes, I find this deeply offensive as well.

I know all of you guys are just really bothered about my nicking and its really thoughtful of you guys to know how i feel. Lurking Patron and Lady Palindrake, i thank you for the note about suicide but don't worry, i'm going THAT far. my family don't really think i'm in pain right now and if they do know that, then that would give my mom a heart attack. my sisters would then scream and yell at me which makes it even worse and same with my friends. one of them was very p*ssed when i told her that i nicked a little bit of myself on the stomache and she wouldn't talk to me for awhile. I understand that i have to seek counseling but i don't want them to let everyone know about this and that i have to go see therapist and all those things and yes i did do it FOR REAL! but i guess i'll stop it and try to cope things with all of the people i love and cherish before any of you guys get really bothered and angry. once again i thank you all and even i should say that they were a little bit harsh but i'm glad that they have spoken out about my nicking. thank you all seishis and the two writers. i'm so so sorry that you guys have to deal with this. i know this just for writing letters for and i'm really sorry.

::peers idly:: Ne, there seems to be a great deal of drama on the page as of late.

I must wonder at the people who find "nicking" themselves and potential suicide suitable choices for roleplay, particularly in a public arena such as this, where the younger sect ventures frequently. Having known people that have done one and attempted both, I find this bastardization juvenile and rather offensive, and I'm certain I'm not the only one that feels this way.

People who do these things do not make a display of them for public attention. They tend not to "put on a brave face" and pretend to conceal their wounds as they do in anime. Those who do put their actions on display tend to be merely seeking the attention, taking advantage of human instinct to help and heal. Generally they have no intention of helping themselves; they only are starving for the attention that comes with this urge. Does that sound harsh? Probably, but interactions with the aforementioned people and studies of psychology support my claim.

Suicide kills, if I am to be direct to the point of stating the obvious. It's not a matter for childish amusement. People seem to have the strange concept that cutting is a new and interesting fad; statistics show that instances of it have risen in the last few years. Forgive my bluntness, but I'm saddened to see it here. This seemed to be a haven for those who enjoyed the anime, not a place for dramatic angst.

As I was reading through the letters, I couldn't help but notice a series of letters that talk about someone cutting herself. I'm very disappointed, on a couple of levels.

First off, cutting is nothing to be made light of. Wrong as this may sound, if you're not really cutting yourself, you really shouldn't tell people that you are. It's a disorder, it's severe and self-destructive and potentially life-ending. Cutting should not be used falsely as a way to get attention. Think of the people who come through this site; there's a reason the seishi edit words, I've asked before. There are children not even in their teens yet coming through this site, what kind of example does this set! That anything is okay as long as a seishi gives you a hug at the end?

Second, if you, Stargirl, are reading this and you really are cutting yourself, for the love of God, get help. Tell someone, tell a counselor, tell a parent, tell a teacher, they can help you. The seishi cannot. They can be concerned and they can advise, but they cannot help you and they cannot heal you if you're really hurting yourself.

I'm deeply offended by these letters. I have a friend who liked to watch herself bleed... I can't remember if she'd actually gone so far as to cut herself for this was a long time ago, but I was so afraid that she would do some serious damage to herself. We're not even talking taking a razer blade and slicing through flesh, she wasn't even that far and I was terrified for her. Don't ever, ever play with a psychological disorder. Something that drives people to suicide is nothing to make into a roleplay device.

Guess you're right. Besides, I don't like a lot of pressure, I have enough as it is. I stayed home from school today. I had a sore throat. Yesterday when I came home from school, I found my dad was sick too. I took a nap and woke up at around 4:30 and I thought it was 4:30 in the morning! I was kind of scared thinking I had to get up for school in an hour but I didn't want to. I feel better now though after having some theraflu ^^I thought it was going to taste nasty but it tasted like lemon. Wasn't too bad. This other stuff that I am supposed to spray into my throat was nsaty though, and said 'instant relief' but it didn't help that much at all. I also had lots of green tea and slept most of the day. I real much better now that my throat only hurts a tiny bit and because I have had lots of sleep. My dad has stomach cramps and had a fever yesterday, but he's feeling better now because he slept too. My mom is the only one who isn't sick in the house. Even one of our cats is sick, but that is because she is very old and she can barely even walk ;_; I suggested we put her on a skateboard so she can wheel around. Just joking though.

That reminds me of a thesis statement we had in english. We were playing thesis jepoardy and in each of our groups, we had to create a thesis that passes the "so what?" factor and earn points. ONe question was 'Why do we read books?' I said something about how they are an escape from reality and that they introduce us to someone else's life. That is pretty true. I love books ^^I love manga books too, but in regular books, I need to create a picture myself.

I just saw the 2nd episode of Gravitation today. I wish I could watch a dvd so I can watch it in japanese and hear brilliant Tomokazu seki's voice as shuuichi ^^ I don't like his english voice. This weekend there is a Bukansai festival at japanese school, I'm so excited because they have sweets for sale!! I can't really get japanese food often, especially not sweets. Hey Chiriko-kun ^_^I really hope you can help me... I um .. did something with my cell phone.. It's something called a VX6000. See, I pressed this button that I thought was manner mode (which makes all the key tones quiet and it vibrates, not rings) but it was LOCK MODE. It prevents others from using my phone which means that I can't use contacts, I can't check voicemail, and I can't see missed calls or send text messages; I also need an unlock password, which I never set up. In my little guide book, it states the obvious by saying "To cancle the lock mode, press right soft key unlock, then enter your four digit code" which is useless because I already know I need a code, but I never set one up so I don't know what it is ^^; I have checked every inch of my little book but it doesn't seem to have a digit code already set up. I've tried every code I could think of and nothing is working. I thought I could try to reset it but there is no reset button. I also shut it off and on, but it remains in lock mode. I tried to look for a phone number to call but none was lsited. DO you think youc an help me? Or is there anyone else (fans) that has the same phone or something and has had this problem?

I thought her name sounded familiar when I looked it up online. She wrote the last unicorn ^^ I remember reading that book. Some parts I didn't get but overall, it was a nice book. I hear they are making a movie. There is one, but it is a cartoon or something. Anyway, Beauty is a retelling of beauty and the beat. I love that fairytale,that is why I wanted to read this. Maybe I am going through a stage. But it is a really nice book so far, so different from the movie.

Well, if I didn't laugh, they would have just laughed at me, lol. I had another food dream. This is the 3rd dream that I have had where I wanted food and someone wouldn't let me have any. The first one was the neighbor party one, the second I wanted japanese sweets (and they were so yummy loooking!!) but my teacher said I was a glutton and it made me feel bad so I couldn't have any more.I had 2 and thats it. Anyway, in this one, it was halloween and my friends and I were at this bakery that had halloween sweets. There was one that was pudding with cookies with cream filling in it. Momo-chan (The chocolate freak) said that was what she was definitely what she was gonna get. We all wanted it so I was last in line. Eventually, everyone left except for the guy making it and his friend, and fencer who hung with me while I waited. When it was finally my turn, it was dark, and he burnt all the cookies in the pudding. Then he started flicking them at me. I was like "what the heck are you doing?!". THen he split one cookie open with his spatula, and it revealed no cream or anything inside and I left without getting anything. Im starting to think these dreams are a sign...

So, I have a question. I am a writer, and I have created some very nice things (if I do say so myself) for school. I am getting an A in English, and all is well in that department. But the thing is, I dislike peer editing with a passion. It's not constructive, and I don't feel like sharing my soul, if you will, with people I don't know all that well or even particularly like. I put up with it becuase I have to, since my teacher's word is law. But can you think of any ways to let the teacher know that it isn't comfortable for me? I have told her about this before, and she says that she'll try and do less of it, but I don't want to do any at all. Should I take what I can get?

ok... dear tama-kiny-poo! *makes kissy lips* XD.. anywho.. i started RE-READING the manga.. because i thougth FY.. (up to vol. 8) was like.. blah! i didn't like it(i don't know WHY! o.O;;;)... but then.. when all my friends started talkin about it again.. and me doing a taitsukun cosplay for acen... i felt like.. left out... missing things.. yanno so i started reading again.. i love it all over... but here is my question

remember... when... miaka and yui FIRST enter the book.. they find you... you beat the men up.. and say "money makes the world go around".. that was what. .maybe not even an hour.. then they reutrn home.. then it must have been several hours or so before miaka enters the book AGAIN with OUT yui... i wanna know times!

1.) how much time passed from the time miaka enters the book with out yui (going to the library on her own.. after the mom/daughter quarrel).. to the END of book one where she says "can't you see that i'm falling in love with you"

2.)how much time elapses from the time miaka enters the book for the THIRD time (after yui had been there with nakago 3 months) to the time you finally realized you loved miaka?

i am confused because.. for these reasons... if only 3 days passed in question #1 and ... that is 3 days.. and in 3 days... miaka already knows she is in love... which... urks me.. BUT... if it was lets say... a few weeks or a MONTH on questions 1 .. THEN i can understand how at the end of the book she proclaims love for you...

with question 2.. i can understand.. you were away from miaka 3 months... then she returns.. but for question 2 to add up for me.. i need to know question 1... because if you as well.. realize you have feelings after just 3 days.. then spend three months moping and eating plates... then.. whoa.. but yeah.. if that time was months.. THEN she left and you moped at ate dinner ware.. then that makes mroe sense...

Since when do you have lice? Too weird- I was at a party last weekend and one of the girls ended up having lice, so everyone at the party had to get checked. The goodness is my hair is fine.
